Remarks

I got admitted in 2018 and at that time admission takes place through Jharkhand combined exam or by JEE Mains for admission I attended offline counseling in Sirkha Toli, Namkum, and Ranchi. Many of the teachers and staff members were present there and they told us all about the college like fee structure, placement, hostel and mess facilities, etc. If you are from a poor background then there is a facility of TFW through which you have to pay a lesser amount of fee. Nowadays, admission takes place through JEE Mains or if seats are vacant then you can contact the admission department of our college and you can get admission directly.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I took admission in the Civil branch because of the larger scope in that field and I was blessed that I got highly educated teachers who all were NITs or some professional college pass outs. Internal exams, as well as university exams, takes place at the exact scheduled time on the JUT calendar.

Internships Opportunities

1.5

Corona played a major role in destroying our chances of doing internships but as a student, we all did internships somewhere there in our homes with good stipends. Yes, the college will not provide you that much of a chance for an internship and that's a sad reality.

Placement Experience

3

visit Steel, etc visits every year this year's highest package was 15 lac and the average was 2 lac. After the 6th semester, you will be eligible to get placed in companies.

Fees and Financial Aid

When I got admission, my fee structure was 2,39,000 for 4 years and there is a scholarship given by the Jharkhand government for every year you study. I will not say that placement is brilliant but I will say that there is a good placement chance you can get if you study well in your academics.

Campus Life

4.5

Genesis was organized in our college in 2018 and because of the Corona, we missed many fests that were to be organized. Every year there is sports fest known as Varchasva takes place and many other cultural fests take place regularly. In our Library, many of the books are present which a student requires.

Hostel Facilities

4

I was a hosteller and I enjoyed a lot living there for 4 years. The hostels are very good and well equipped with the facilities a student needs. There is also a mesh facility and the foods there are very yummy. For getting a hostel in college you have to contact our warden, sir, after getting registered in the admin office. The rooms are very good with good electricity availability for 24 hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I will rate the course curriculum decent because it cover the basic engineering concepts that made me choose this course and it prepare us okay for real-world or higher study, but still more practical work and updated teaching method needed, and exams come mostly every semester with some internals which are moderate tough but manageable with regular study. There are some teachers who teach very well and have good teaching methods.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is okay and the basics are covered well, which is one reason I choose this branch, but some subjects feel outdated and not fully connected to real industry work. It prepare us for further studies more than practical jobs. Exams come every semester with internals in between, difficulty is moderate but few papers become tricky. I think more practical topics, updated labs and better teaching methods will make the curriculum more useful...

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

One of my colleges best features is its placements program, which offers fantastic chances for students to launch their carrers. In the fifth and sixth semesters, students are prepared with aptitude training sessions, group discussions, and resume construction. About 85% of qualified pupils were placed during the previoes school year. Compared to core engieering fields, placements rates were marginally higher in IT branches.
