Remarks

Eligibility of the course is attending the expo exam and get a rank under 20000 to get a government college The application forms can get on the official site. the form will be filled up in April month and the application fees will be 500 rs They have reservation benefits I think the admission process is good.

Because I get a good rank and it was my dream to do a diploma in electrical engineering. The faculty is average...but the student ratio is very good. Minimum qualification needs Madhyamika pass The semester will be held under 6 month time period... Difficulty level of exam is standard

Swami Vivekananda scholarship is given from the college to every year student... I can't apply for any job on campus because of my higher degree...but I can say about campusing of my college.....many students got a job from my college and campusing is good

Annual fest probably organized in April may month....freshers will be conducted for a new student and many more programs are held in college.... library collection good...do not have special amenities....sports and extracurricular activities are too bad...

My Experience at TPI as a 3rd Year Diploma Undergrad

Placement Experience:

Campus placements are good. Big names are associated with TPI for campus placements. But for Computer Science students, very few companies arrive, that too with very less salaries. (not worth it). It is generally reccomendable if you can do a Btech is come college and work on your skills there, your employbility gets higher. Highest package from Computer Science is 20 LPA (off-campus) and lowest package is 1.8 LPA (on-campus). Generally on campus placements range from 2 to 3 LPA.

Best start for a professional life

Placement Experience:

From fifth semester semester students became eligible for campus drive recruitment. And college also started campus drive. As i earlier mentioned that campus drive are not that much satisfying at all during 2012-2014. I was passed out at 2014 & in my time there's only one company came for civil engineering branch except that all are IT companies. For electronics & telecommunication and Computer science student there's lots of scope at that period. Some of them got package of 3.6 lakh per annum which may be the highest package as far as i know during my days. In an average we get 2 lakh per annum package. I just set one campus drive recruitment of Printika pvt. Ltd. which recruited almost 15 civil engineer from our branch. They offered 2 lakh per annum package to all. As a percentage of placed student from my branch is almost 20%. Overall from 2014 batch it'll be 30-50%. Unfortunately i didn't placed from that placement drive as I'm planning for higher study.

There re almost 60 percent students are placed and rests are getting prepare for next campusing.My plan is doing job after completing this degree.

Feeling well to share my experience.

I started this course after my 10th examination. My percentage in the 10th examination was 59% and the required percentage for the scores was 35% so I easily get a chance to sit in the examination of jexpo. From one of my teachers, I get to know about this course, then I went to the nearby Government Polytechnic College which is Jalpaiguri Polytechnic Institute and collected an offline form of jexpo at the cost of 500. The application of this course what applying was started in march month in 2019. After applying for the course it to 2 months of a gap for the examination of the course to enter the college. I got the 1600 rank in general caste and got a chance in Jalpaiguri Polytechnic College. The exam taking process for pretty good from the Government of Polytechnic. The admission process in Jalpaiguri Polytechnic College was offline with all the documents provided us while filling the form rank list with all types of identity and education certificates.
