Review about my college

The criteria for admission in Btech is just 45 percent in PCM for general/OBC and 40 percent for reserved category. University organises a entrances test GBU -ET for various programs abbreviated as UET, PET etc. For diffrent programs.

I was first interested in robotics, which is why I decided to choose BTech ECE. Mostly all the facilities are cooperative and help nature. Exams are held 2 times a semester the mid-sems and end sems.

Internships are mostly posted in college placement groups which are created for ever new batch of engineering students. companies like Gemini, Asian paints, tcs, wipro, and HCl provides the internship opportunity. Many students find internship on their own for better opportunity. There are internships options in university itself in university website developer, drone technology etc.

From 6 sem students are eligible for placements. A number of companies visited the college for placement. the highest package that I have heard of is 18 lakhs and the least is 5 lakhs. majority of students are placed. But many students opt for government jobs. I want to pursue LLB after my course.

The fees vary for different courses but, the fee for my BTech course is 65,000 per semester and the hostel fee is 35,000 per semester for a single seated room with mess facilities. the fee breakdown for a hostel is like 20k for room and 15k for mess per semester. The scholarship is provided through a govt scholarship scheme.

There are various of events and programs every year like sports fest, tech fest, hackathons, shourya Utsav and abhivy Anjana. There is an indoor sports complex, football stadium and an international standard cricket stadium. there are dance clubs, music clubs and drama clubs. NSS services are also available. The Bodhisattva library is a huge library. There are a number of books for each course including MBBS.

Hostels are good. The messy food is also good with proper hygiene and cleanliness. There is quality and variety of food each day. The hostel room is equipped with proper furniture such as a table, chair, beds, fan, bookshelf and almirah. The hostels are allowed by the admin of the university. For various the hostel is compulsory. PG are available in nimbus and alfaq and many more places.
