Entrance Preview

MU website has an online application form which the students can fill and submit it online. Apart from all this, a photograph also needs to be attached with a digital signature. One should be prepared with all these things beforehand when applying for the application.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is one of the best of the university. The college is well-known for its engineering course. It stays true to its word and provides a good knowledge about engineering.

Placement Experience

The placements are good of the college. One can totally rely on them. The institute has a well-organized placement team headed by the Associate Director and comprising of faculty and student coordinators from each department. On an average, over 125 recruiting teams visit Manipal for UG & PG campus placements & internship recruitment every year.

The campus comes to life with the crack of dawn and at night it is a totally different scene. Students do not have to go outside for anything. The college has a hospital where the students can do their checkup in case needed. There are labs for students who need to learn and provide hands-on training. There is a huge library for the students as well.

MU has some of the best faculty in the country. The college ranks amongst the top 5 institutions in the country. The university has over 140 collaborations across the globe. So, one can guess that the faculty is amazing of the college.

i would rate 3/5 because we want more systems to do our work as well as labs too,the main thing is we dont have that faculty compare to other department their are only 4 faculty,so they can't even able to take extra class for us ,so this is the main problem in our deparment

Good for you if you want a degree and want self learn

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are no such specific of the curriculum that influenceed me to take these course instead i was interested or kneen to this course., since my childhood I wanted do this course. It's good in terms of virtual world but not for real world. Everywhere there's a need of improvement no practical knowledge is present here no one talks about new ideas not even they think about even some of them came because it costed them low. No such specific difficulty.

The students from the last year that is seventh semester are allowed to attend the placement given on campus. There are not so many campus placement available. Many companies such as tcs, wipro and other companies basically giving less salary compared to other colleges. There are many few students who got placed in the companies through campus placement hence it cannot be trusted completely. My plans after getting a degree is to get a job or even higher studies of possible. The average students getting placed are very low.

The Pros and Cons of being a student at MIT Manipal

I tried JEE but could not secure a good enough percentile to get into prominent NITs. MIT Manipal seemed to be better than any of the cet colleges with only the course fee being slightly on the higher end. I applied to SRM and VIT, both of which i got accepted into, but opted out as it seemed like both of these colleges rely heavily on student intake and are money minded. MIT Manipal has an exam called the MET which is based on a jee scheme (+3 -1). In my year the only marks required to secure a seat in the college was the MET but the scheme has changed and now board marks are also taken into consideration. JEE percentile can also be considered if the student secures above 95 , but most students take MET and are given ranks according to it....Read More
