Remarks

There was only a phone call interview. For admission, you can visit the JLU site. The application fee is nearly about 1000. Try to apply early near in June, or July. Try to visit the campus and check all the labs, architecture, and classes.

Course Curriculum Overview

The Course Curriculum was good, In 1st year you will learn C and other things related to non-CSE, but it was fun to learn all those things, From 2nd year onwards you will get core subjects of CS and some maths.

Placement Experience

Mainly marketing company comes with a high package, and very few tech companies come for placements. For them also, the package is very low, try to take placements off-campus. Try to build a strong resume in your college years.y

Fees and Financial Aid

You can pay the fee in instalments or in one go. You can also avail the scholarship by using the mains score and also by giving some tests, talking about placements majority of marketing company comes offering high packages and a few tech companies also come but offer low package.

Life at the campus is amazing, every sport can be played there. The library is also there which is having books from every department of the college. There are many clubs you can avail of. The classrooms are very big, feels like a US college.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is also fun, but now there are too many restrictions. By availing Hostel you can play any sports. Warden is also there who will take care of u, there will be weekly outings provided by the bus to go out.

The absolute truth about SIRT

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students will be getting placement notification, there is an app called pod AI to monitor your placement companies and how much you applied, and your eligibility for company, if you are from electrical branch you will recieve polycab , EXL , a1 fence , solar square . There was about 10 companies visited but absolutely 0 opportunity in IT companies if you are from electrical branch. Average branch package is 2.4 lacks per annum About 50% of students got placed My plans after degree is to go for off campus opportunity

Campus Pl start from the 7th semester with good companies visiting for core branches popular recruiters are tafe eichers, CG power, Disa. Cognizant and Infosys for the IT roles also. Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum followed by the college is slightly old in comparision to iits and nits but it is better than most of the remaining colleges. But the curriculum could be improved.The curriculum is based on more theoretical approach and less practical approach for some branches.The teaching methodology is good . Teachers use smart boards if they need. The frequency of the exams and msts are good but they also include demo which makes it hectic.

OCT Bhopal is outstanding!!

Placement Experience:

Highesht package so far has been of 34 lakhs per annum and average though is 6 LPA. This average is considering all departments as for pur department it is of 10 LPA. Wipro, Amazon, Tisco and Mindtree are some companies out of lets say 50 odd which shows up every year. My plan is to do an MBA program and i am preparing for CAT too.

At JLU if you have deep pockets then you don't have to worry as fees is high and if you can pay that irrespective of your scores you can get admission here.
