Remarks

Presidency college is one of the most vintage colleges in India. Still the college maintained the vintage look and glory. More than 21 department working in this college and majority are best except some department like history psychology ect. In some areas need more renovation works for maintain the beauty of college. It is purely a government college so there are some issues inside the college as usual we can see in every government college. My college campus has a big state and we celebrate traditional festivals like Pongal.

When we looked at the semester exams it is very perfect and precise. The semester exam was held at the right time and the results were published within one month. About the exam, it's not too much difficult. The question based on the given syllabus and some are out of syllabus.

Mainly presidency college provides internships for pg students not for ug students. Not too much but college provides internship programs as they are possible. Coming year college tries to improve the internship program.

Presidency college is one of the colleges that charge very less fees in India. Per year college only charges 1200 rs only and 600 to 700 rs per semester for Ba programs. College provides various kinds of scholarships for everyone. I got nsp scholarships which 10000rs Per year.

Campus Life

In our college, there is a number of social groups like NCC, NSS, rotary club, etc. The majority of this club is not going well and club base programs are very less excluded from rotary club. Rotary club conduct may use a full program.

Life at PSGCAS

Placement Experience:

The placements were okay in our college, it starts from the second year onwards in respect to diff degree. For economics it starts from 5th semester onwards. There were many companies who visited including goldman sachs, deloitte, zoho, tcs, accenture etc. and the package starts from 1,20,000 to 12,00,000 rupees per annum.

Placement Experience:

Our college provides placement. At first they will conduct some training programme for those students who are all interested and paid fee for placements after that based on the performance of the students in the interviews they got selected. Course Curriculum Overview:

Well the course provides almost everything which is needed and available. This is not a normal economics course as it involves statistics,python, core math and also dives into data science. This allows the students to explore various subjects and can choose which is their best fileld. The curriculum overall is very rigorous and intense but you can crack it if you study regularly. About the frequencies of the examinations, we have 2 internal examinations and 1 end semester examination. I can guarantee that this course is super rigorous but im not sure if i would necessarily say that the course is "practical" and it helps us in the real word. I cannot comment on the practicality of the courses. The exams are not super difficult and its moderate. Getting more than 90% can be challenging although clearing the paper won't be an impossible task.
