Remarks
I joined my Integrated MTech CSE (5yr) in collaboration with virtusa by applying to the course on VIT official website around April/May. There I submitted an application and they considered my +2 marks and gave me admission just on my merit. If you want to join even if you get low marks then you have to pay more fee.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen this course as I was interested in computer science and also in placement opportunities. It is having FFCS (Fully Flexible Credit System) where you can choose your timetable and faculty. Mostly In a class, a teacher can teach 60/65 students.
Internships Opportunities
There are a lot of Super dreams, dreams, and core companies you can get an internship from. Super dream means if your internship is converted then your CTC will be above 10LPA. For dream, it is above 5LPA. For core normal, it is like 3.9LPA and above.
Placement Experience
Campus Placements are good in our college. Recently, 2 students from the Btech CSE department of the 2023 outgoing batch got a Pre-Placement-Offer of 1Crore CTC from MOTOR. The eligibility for sitting in placements is for prefinal year and final year students. And for internships, it depends on the Sector you have joined.
Fees and Financial Aid
If you get under Category 1 it will cost you 5Lakhs just for the tuition fee. Whereas for Btech it will cost you 8 Lakhs for 4 years. For the remaining categories, it will cost more than that, depending upon the category you get. There is a merit scholarship. I don't know about it. You will get paid internship from your prefinal year as per knowledge.
Campus Life
Life at the campus is awesome. The library has all the resources. Tech fests are conducted very often. Sports and extracurricular clubs are very Good. There are a lot of student clubs, and chapters that are supported in VIT. Interested students can participate.
Hostel Facilities
There are single, double, four, six-bed ac, and non-AC rooms in hostels. You will get a good Wi-Fi network. Meal quality depends on the mess type and mess you choose. The menu will be different for different months. Hostel registration for freshers is done on a first come first serve basis. Hostel registration for the remaining students will be based on CGPA rankings.

The curriculum and syllabus for the B.Tech program and B.Tech section of the integrated B.Tech + M.Tech program is the same. The only difference is that it will take you at least 6 years to complete B.Tech and M.Tech but it will take you only 5 years to have an integrated B.Tech + M.Tech degree. The placement opportunities are the same but the package received totally depends on each individual’s peformance.
