Remarks
The campus is very good. Everywhere greeny area. Hostels are also quite good. Food is not very fine. Need more faculty and need to be more focused on placements. The lecture hall is huge. Collaboration with other institutions is also good.
Course Curriculum Overview
Terms exams are dependent on teachers. Some teacher makes the question paper easy some teacher makes the question paper difficult. The overall quality of the questions is very good. Most of the students crack GATE NET from here.
Internships Opportunities
Some of the companies are AKASH, FITG, and TCS. I got one project in ISI Kolkata. Being a mathematics student I did not get any job by placements but other department students like Statistics, MBA, and MCA got jobs.
Fees and Financial Aid
I got one scholarship namely BBL that was a monthly 1000. Some companies came for placement but I did not get it. Because of the lockdown, a few companies were there. Another year number of companies was good.
Campus Life
Yes, there were many social clubs that are run by students. One of them is the Students Union, which also provides food at a cheap price. There were some annual fests also like social. Most of the books are available in the IGM library. Some more books should be there.
Hostel Facilities
The rooms are huge. I stayed in hostel B, the room was big. For the PG students two students are in a room and for phd students one student is in a room. Meal quality is average not very good. The registration process for a hostel is very easy and affordability.
