Remarks

The admission process was very smooth and the faculty guided me at each step. I also enrolled in a scholarship entrance exam which was online and got a 9000 Rs scholarship. The application form for this can be easily assessed from the university website.

Course Curriculum Overview

Here faculty are highly cooperative and nearly all are Ph.D. scholars. They allow each student to write and publish review papers and research papers. Several patents are done by faculty and students. Every year 40 percent of class students clear the NET or GATE exam with a good ranking and the rest get placed in reputed industries. Faculty have teachers who have done their Ph. D.s from abroad or IITs.

Internships Opportunities

Chandigarh University provides internships to students but to only those who are good in academics and also they do not provide stipend internships. In Masters of Science in Chemistry, it is under curriculum to do 2 months internship after the 2nd-semester exam from outside. This prepares students for upcoming real-world challenges.

Placement Experience

Chandigarh university is known for its best placements. CU ensures that each and every student gets placed in a good industry. Companies like Zifo, Cognizant, HP, Dell, etc visit CU for placements every year. A good package of a minimum of 350000 INR is provided and in good cases, even n 9 lakes package is provided to students.

Fees and Financial Aid

The annual fee for MSc " Chemistry" is nearly 70000 INR but students can give a scholarship test while getting admission and can have fee concession as per the score in the exam. This scholarship can further be extended by performing well in the semester and can be carried on for the further semester.

Campus Life

Several celebrities visit Chandigarh university for film promotion events and CU-Fest. So many events at different festivals are provided where students showcase their talent and get awarded. Inter-college sports competitions are also held. Classes are spacious enough to provide enough ventilation.

In this we get brief information of computer science and more options of placement. Curriculum is based on all computer and to obvious reasons it relate to real-world as well as virtual. To my accord teachers must pay attention to practical work not to just completing syllabus and writing theories. The timing and difficulty level of exams are good. Again it's depend upon the subjects chosen.

Placement Experience:

Last year of course we are eligible for placement. Many Pharmaceutical companies like Akums Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Indswift Ltd, jubilant, SRF Ltd., etc. As well as many Institutions like Akash, Buyjus, etc. also visit our university to provide jobs to the students. The average annual price of the package is 3-7 lakhs which will vary from department to department. An average percentage of around 60% would be eligible to appear in the interview but the further process depends on the placement committee. I will do P.hD. after completion of my course.

Best Emerging Private University in North

Remarks:

Management is very good and they always work to give best environment for students. The campus is also very large. Transport facility is also 24×7. A honest review

When I was finalizing my decision, I compared my choosen college with the others on various parameters such as faculty, infrastructure, ratings, reviews, placements and extra curricular activities and co curricular activities and most importantly affordability that is fee structure. I haven't applied to any other colleges other than CU itself. The admission process of my college is eligibility that is you have to pass class 12th for my course bpt. If you opt for masters then you have to present a degree of bachelors for admission. The exam accepted for admission here in cu in cuchd, cuet,etc. if you clear any of these exams with good grades then you can get easy admission here in Chandigarh University. The cut off marks depends on the university itself. But try to score good to get admission here. The overall admission process for me was smooth from starting to the end.
