Entrance Preview

CET, I scored 264/300There was no interview. I chose VIIT as it falls under Pune university and the school and university both had a very good name.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course included 5 subjects every half semester. The subjects were 100 marks each. It also includes 2-3 practical for coding related subjects. The practicals were for 50 marks which also included vivas.

Internships Opportunities

I did my internship at TCS (research center). It was based on a technical test and they selected 4 students. Stipend was ?2500/month. The experience was really good as we interacted with actual projects and clients.

Placement Experience

Placement scenario is very good. There are bunch of companies in line for offering jobs. Service based companies offered upto 3.5 Lacs . Product offered upto 5.5 Lacs.

Fee Structure And Facilities

It is little in higher range. But comparatively education quality is good. Fee structure is 60000 per year.

Fees and Financial Aid

At the time when I was enrolled I did not hear of any scholarships. Just the usual OBC and ST scholarahips were there.

Campus Life

We could do anything. Sports was good. We had all equipment available.The gender ratio was pretty low in my batch. We were 60 students and only 12 were femals.

Alumni/Alumna

I am in the alumni network and college helps build this network. We also help students in switching jobs or if they do not have one - we provide them. The network of alumni helps college to improve curriculum and focus on what is needed.

Exam Structure

Every 6 months we had exams and practicals. It was not hectic. We also got PL for 1 month before exams.

An Honest Review

Placement Experience:

The Campus placement of VNIT Nagpur is good enough. Students of 7th and 8th semesters are elegible for campus placement. Many companies visited in the campus some prominent names were google, Microsoft, amazon, Goldman Sachs, and many core companies such as bajaj, HPCL,BPCL etc. the number of offers made was 760 in 2024 and placement percentage was around 80 percent.

The course is slighty old in terms of age but there are updates being made that are branch specific like more detailed electronics in the electrical lab like diodes and other relevant experiments. PICT College Review

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college are pretty good considering the Fact that mostly its the Top 2000-3000 students from Maharashtra that make it to this college. The average Package offered in the college is Around 11LPA while the highest package last year was around 48LPA. The names of the Top companies that have recruited students from my college include Adobe, Amazon and Mastercard. The placement percentage from the past few years has been above 90%. My plans after getting the Degree is either to continue my Cricket Career as a Proffesional or to become a Commercial Pilot.
