VCET - shape of me

The admission process was done through the CAP round. After 12th board exam there is MHCET entrance exam for admission of enginnering student. And from CET score I got this college. There is reservation benefits available for cast student. Even for cast students have cut-off less tha general category students. For the general category students also have benefits but very less seats are available for that. During my time we have only 3 seats for the TFWS quota in each branch. TFWS is tuition fees waiver scheme where student tuition fees will be provided by the government. So his/her admission can be done only in less than Rs10000. Eligibility for the course is just you should be from a science background and CET score. 12th percentage doesn't matter for college admission.

After 12th I had chosen to go for core branches like mechanical or civil. I applied for both branches but with gods blessings, I got selected for this college civil engineering course. During the admission process, the college office admin department was so helpful. As everything is new for us but they helped a lot. Talking about faculty ratio, there is a system in college that in every branch for every class there is 1 proctor for every 25 students. Who keeps daily record and progress of the student and monthly it is submitted to their parents. So can say 1:25 teacher: student ratio. Talking about the qualification of faculty, faculties are highly qualified and experienced teachers all are. All the HODs are Ph.D. holders. In each sem, there are two term exams and one final semester exam. Term exams are not that hard if we study regularly or smartly. Teachers are helpful so if we take advantage of that it is quite easy to pass.

The fee structure for general category students is around 94000. And for category students, it was about 52000. The fee has to be filled either once or half after each sem in a year. Many scholarships are available for students. In general students can apply for EWS scholarships so their fees among get refunded in the bank. Cast students also have benefits in fees.

In VCET the very famous annual fest in palghar is named 'Zeal'. Zeal is a three-day annual fest where the student council makes all the arrangements and makes it the grand fest in palghar district. Zeal fest is celebrated in February's first week. On the first day, there is DJ night where top DJs come and play their tracks like sunburn, and Candice. Next day Octaves which is a completely different performing stage for the rock bands where many brands come and play battles between them. And one gets a winner. The last day is an annual function where the price distribution ceremony dance singing all happen. The college has many amenities like a library, workshops, gymkhana, and and canteen. Very books are available in the library and the system is computerized so it is very easy to find books.
