Likes
- The girls to boys ratio is 1:3. There are lot of opportunities for girls like scholarships and many intership opportunities exclusive to girls.
- Infrastructure is very good as in talking about classroom. From aat every class is getting 2-3 ACs installed.
- Placement cell is very effective at least this year since they have been bringing higher package companies compared to last year.
Dislikes
- There is shortage of effective faculty. Technical subjects are not the best taught.
- Labs are inefficient for newer branches like Artificial Intelligence.
- Assignment and experiment are asked to be done but we feel they are very irrelevant to the course.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is nicely planned but most of the technical stuff starts in third year which is related to artificial intelligence. Other basic technical subjects are thought is second year like C programming and Digital Logic. Few subjects can be revised for syllabus coverage and also newer technologies can be covered.
Internships Opportunities
Internships opportunities have been limited with some local tie ups that offered web development internships with no stipend. Despite it was very educational and the college is putting efforts into improving every year.
Placement Experience
Placements have been improving very nicely. Higher packages are been offered as compared to previous few years. Also many new startups are joining the college placement sessions. The placement cell organizes many training programs for the students. They also set up seminars for industrial knowledge.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am general student and I pay 65000rs. as fees and that's because of EBC scholarship. Otherwise my complete fees is 117000. And it increases by 500 to 1000rs in every two years. My friend is from institute quota so he pays full 117000rs. One of my friend is from SC and he pays 20000.
Campus Life
Clubs like student council and sports committee are one of the best to enjoy the social life. Other than that there are also professional clubs like IEEE and literati club and Microsoft Learning club, etc. Every year there is Avahan i.e. are annual sports meet. It is one of the most enjoyed moments of my journey here. There is a whole building dedicated to Library. There are tons of books and also a digital area.
Admission
Admission process is smooth at the college. The management is very clear with all the instructions. Eligibility exams are MHTCET and JEE mains and also diploma in related field. I took admission here since placement wise this was the best college I could get. Also it is very close to the station making travel easy to college. Cutoff for my branch is 82 percentile in CET.
Faculty
Faculty to student ratio is 2:70 and a lot of the teachers are not creative about teaching. Student -Teacher relationship is pretty nice since the teachers are very understanding. There are 2 internal assessments and one semester end exam.
