Remarks

The eligibility is 70% in HS for getting commerce. All detail I got from the online official website of my college, and later submitted to the college office. No reservation benefits.

Course Curriculum Overview

From the beginning, I love math and sales-related topics. That's why I choose this course. The teachers are very well. At that time there was the only option of offline lectures. But during the lockdown, they also provided online classes. There was a part-wise system at that time. 1 exam in 1 year. But it was tough to pass the exam.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 7420 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees were not too high for poor candidates. Fees were very low and affordable for all types of students. The only scholarship I received was the SC caste certificate scholarship. And I did not get any job on campus.

Campus Life

The name of the annual fest is Synthesis and the tech fest is Auxesis. Auxesis conducts in March or April and Synthesis conducts from September to October. The library is too big and all kinds of books are there. A final sports day conducts on the nearest playground.

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell club which functions in the college itself which is efficient in providing over 67 to 98% of students with placements. This percentage can vary for different years and different courses. The college has been successful in attracting top recruiters like deloitte, wipro, TCS, and leader companies from various other sectors. Packages vary significantly from 4 to 6 LPA up to 24LPA. After getting my degree i am planning to first make sure that i have completed my CA course that i am pursuing alongside. And then going ahead with either a job outside kolkata or open a business in kolkata itself.

Having fun at St. Xavier's

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum aligns well with the professional courses like CA and CMA. it has a lot of classes like value added course, modern indian language etc. which help us grow overall. The seminars are very helpful. We submit presentations on rela world topics which prepare us beyond the clasroom. It could be improved to reduce the excess theory portions. The frequency and timing is wonderful.

Beyond Books : Life at St. Xaviers

Placement Experience:

The students from their 3rd year become eligible for campus placement. Different companies including the Big 4 like Deloitte KPMG etc made offers in 2024-25 and the average package offered in BCOM was 4.5 LPA. I plan on sitting for the placements after i get my degree, that is if im not pursuing my articleship at the time.

My mysterious college life

I got selected for other colleges too for this course . But I took admission in this college over any other colleges because of the faulty that I have heard from my brother . Another reason is the location. Yes it's the another reason as it's really easy to find out this college . And our college is just 1 min away from the metro station gate no 3. And any bus is available from that place . The college rating is also good . I got rejected from 1 particular college but I've no regret for that .
