Remarks

The admission process is quite normal. Eligibility to this course was based on aktu entrance exam, application form can be found on aktu site. Of someone belonging to the reserved category. He /she could avail of reservation benefits. They should make some processes online at the time of admission.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I have an interest in the course subjects. The faculty-student ratio is quite well. Faculties are well qualified. There are 3 internal exams in one semester. And one external exam every six months in one semester.

Class Size: 180Course Fees: INR 119850 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships from Google and Microsoft are provided to students to appear. Google's internship named GSOC or google summer of code is provided to students. We have to make projects in 8 sem. Which is a major project.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for placements in 7 sem. Companies like HCL, adobe, and Tata visit to have placements. The highest package is 40 LPA on campus. almost 90 to 95 percent of students get placed every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are quite high according to this course. But if we compare it to IITs then it's quite normal. Students can avail of government scholarships if they are eligible. A government scholarship in which half of the fee is refunded back if students' family income is less than 2lpa.

Campus Life

Life at the campus is good. Annual fest and technical fest named zealicon happen every year. Books and journals are available in the library in good quantity. Amenities in class should be improved, they do not provide air-conditioned classes. Sports are also enhanced. A club named Illuminati is run by students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is well structured and keep up with the evolving trends of industry. It balance Theoretical and knowledge and practical application, helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects like programming mathematics and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum Includ Laboratory session Projects and tutorials that enhance understanding beyond the textbooks It also allows students to choose elective in later semester which adds flexibility and depth to learn. In terms of revevance, most subjects are designed to align with current industry requirements especially in field like computer science and electronics the inclusion of emerging technologies such as ai data science and web development makes it quite comprehensive. However a few areas could be improved such as integrating more industry based project and updating some older Syllabus to match modern tools and frameworks. Overall the curriculum is relevant ,comprehensive and career-oriented providing a solid base for both higher studies and professional development.

My Opinion about GL BAJAJ INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT

Placement Experience:

The student are available for placement from the starting of the 4th year of 7th semester. There's are lot of decent companies that come to our college like TCS, INFOSYS, MICROSOFT, CAPGEMINI etc The highest placement of my college is about 58 lpa and the average placement of my college is about 7.5lpa The 90 percentage of the students who participated in the placement are being placed rest are gone for their higher studies. My planned after getting my degree is to grab a decent package from the college and started my career.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements from the 6th semester. Recently Infosys visited our college, however the average and highest package was not yet declared but we have heard rumours that the highest package is somewhat around 30 LPA. The percentage of students getting placement is around 65%. My plans after getting this degree is applying for external placements as well.

Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.

Talking about fees it is much less than other collges and placement is also goood and hostel food and timing is really good compared to other colleges.
