Remarks

Good remark is that the college has nice atmosphere and bad remark is that there is no placement directly from college.

Entrance Preview

I have given the IPU-CET exam held gy GGSIPU. The admission is purely on the basis of marks obtained in IPU-CET exam.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course structure is somewhat nice and the teachers also teaches very well. Yes there is focus on the research. They have Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Environmental Education and English in first year followed by respective branches subjects after first year.

Internships Opportunities

No our college does not provide any internships. But those who were interested can go on thwley own from third year. They gave us that permission during our summer holiday.

Placement Experience

1

There was placement cell but there were very few companies that came for the placement and that too for other branches not not for mine. But the previous year there were 2- 3 companies who came for my branch. The package given by the companies was in the range of 3-5 lacs per annum.

College Events

3

Our college held technical fests for all the possible branches. They were also debates competition, dramatics as well as the festivals celebration also took place with each and every one participating in it and having a blast. The preparation of this were done on large scale so that all can enjoy.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fee structure is feasible as compared to other colleges. The fees includes of tution fee, development fee, text books fee which totals to about 85000-90000 per year. There were no hostels nor mess so the fees excludes them. So the fees was not too much.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are scholarships for those who does good in IPU-CET exam. But i do not know about the loan facility as no one was given loan by college in my knowledge.

Campus Life

3.5

There are a number of activities held both by college as well as the university. The gender ratio is more of boys than girls. The competition involves robotics and a lot more in my branch. There were labs that were conducted daily or as per schedule.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The college didn't have any hostel nor did it had any provision for mess. The were PG near the college so one had to stay there. There was also tiffin facility that came in noon as well as at night. The rooms were good and there were two people in one room. The average rental of PGs was 4000 per person.

Alumni/Alumna

Yes they are helpful and were the best seniors. They helped whenever we needed them and are also in touch now.

Exam Structure

The exam were held in two phases one in December and other in May. Also there were sessional test held twice in a year whose certain percent of marks were added in the main examination. They were not hectic but were chilled out as there was not that burden on us.

Admission

I got admission on the basis of IPU-CET exam. The application form was released in October and the exam was held in April. The application form was submitted online. After one month from exam was the counselling in the main campus i.e. GGSIPU. In which i chose the above mentioned college.

Faculty

4

The faculty of my college was nice and very highly educated. They were well educated in their respective fields and some had written books also which were also used as reference books in our college. The standards we cannot say were very bad nor they very good also.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

Placement Experience:

The placements are in good terms, many students get a placement with nice package. Students become eligible for campus placements from 3rd Semester. TCS made about 7 offers as far as I know. One can expect the highest package of 2.5crore and an average of 200000. About 80% of students gets placement because of the skills they learned wheres the rest 20% are only at college to do mischievous acts. After getting the degree, I will find a job and then after enough capital I will start my own startup.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The frequency of the exams is 2 times a year once in the month of December and once in the month of May. Internal exams (tests) are conducted in between to continuously evaluate you during the course. According to me, the exam should be conducted before itself, so that we can get more time for internship opportunities.
