Remarks

I give JEE MAINS as an entrance exam, and I applied for the Houses counseling further I applied for the physical counseling in which my branch was upgraded. Anyone can find the link to forms on the hotel's official website and JC Bose's official website. Few were given a reservation to get admission without jee rank, based on 12th percent, and other reservation benefits basis on the rank was given to students. The admission process was very slow and they didn't provide any notifications for the same which made students anxious.

Course Curriculum Overview

0.5

There were sessional exams during the semester 2 times and end-semester exams after the semester. Sessional were kind of easy to score but in the end sem the marking was way hard and no option for revaluation or any sort of facility to get the sheet rechecked.

Placement Experience

4

From the 7th semester, students are eligible for placements. Many companies like amazon and de Shaw visit here and provide good packages. 30 LPA was the highest offered in 2021, after that they didn't release the placement result. The average is 8 LPA in my branch. About 90% in my branch get placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is affordable, and there are tons of opportunities for scholarships based on the reservation or the marks you score in the semester exam. Didn't get any job with a stipend until now. Also, financial assistance is fine.

Campus Life

2

Culmyca is the name of the fest which used to happen. After Covid, nothing like this has been organized till now. There are plenty of books available in the library. No issues there. Sports is the kind of stuff in which it lacks behind, you at max can play regionals here, but the badminton and kabaddi courts are well maintained. The club culture is good, many clubs are there with a lot of friendly seniors. Also, there are fans in the classes of our branch and smarter classrooms, even though we are in the top core branch, basic amenities are provided in classrooms.

Hostel Facilities

0.5

Hostel is totally wrecked. It'll be demolished soon, and it was only provided in the first year, only fan and 3 small lockers were provided in the hostel, except that we all had to bring ourselves, tables are just a cement log hanging out of walls, beds are no better than a "khat", hostel facilities are poor. Meal is fine, edible, not so good but not so bad. Its available on the webiste. In second year which'll be soon we'll be taking a PG.

Campus placements are offered with many companies visiting (700-800+). Highest packages can go high (Rs 30-56 LPA), but averages and typical offers vary (~ Rs 6-7 LPA), and placements rates differ by batch. Some students also pursue internships or off-campus jobs if campus offers are limited.

Four campus placements student get eligible after the 6th semester and from 6th semester companies come and they search for their Perfect suit And they just simply Conduct their interviews in the College campus Various companies visited our college like HCL,TCS and many more Offering a basic scale payoff around 6,00,000 Per year. Average package for our college is around three to six lakhs and the highest package a student got is around 54 lakhs Per year. For sitting in placement at least 6 cgpa is required to Get eligible for Placements But most of the companies ask for 7CGPA and above and only few companies are there which demand 6 cgpa students. My planes after getting this degree is Doing a job and then Lumping amount So that I can open up my business in the form of cafe or something else. But somewhere I will like to become nlp engineer As I have interest in sound processing system and AI and being from IT background I have good coding skills and communication skills. Till the age of 40 I Start my own business or a startup. At last but not least Our college has a good placement Drive system And a good academic system too and one can easily prepare for placements if he studies well.

From 2nd year onwards we can prepare for it as we are equipped with hands on experience on multiple projects and practical knowledge. Till now the highest package has reached 45 lakhs per annum. I don't think that percentage matters as practical knowledge is more superior that theory part. I am planning to go for MNCs.

Placements are not good in my college. Only few companies are recruiting through on campus like virtusa, tcs etc. average package is 3-4 lakhs and maximum package is 9 lakhs. From 4th year students are eligible for on campus placement. Only 30-40% of students get placed. I am thinking to give gate exam for better opportunity.

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.
