Remarks

Eligibility is the average percentage should be 50 % with pass marks in maths. For the application process I contacted NERIM and they have provided me with an admission counsellor for the admission process. No reservation benefits are there.

Course Curriculum Overview

NERIM is one of the best colleges in Assam for BCA. And I got to know about it and I was also interested in this IT course. And faculty memebers are way too friendly with students. And exams and tests are timely conducted.

Internships Opportunities

Many internship facilities are there in NERIM or you can also choose other companies according to your choice. Because nearby many companies are there offering internships because the college is in the city. Currently, I am in the 4th semester and we will get projects from the 5th semester.

Placement Experience

At the time of final years, there are companies like Wipro and TCS who visit campus for placements. The average package is 4 lakhs and the highest package till now is about 8 lakhs. About 30 % of students get placements from BCA courses which is very high according to other colleges. I will choose for MBA or MCA after BCA

Fees and Financial Aid

There are six semesters in this course. And per semester course fee is 25000 rupees which are affordable comparing other colleges offering this course and there are many placements companies who visit in the final year of the course.

Campus Life

Annual fest NEERMAN is conducted in the month of June and sports is also conducted in the month of February. Enough books and necessities are there in the library and an online e-portal is also available.

Placement Experience:

"To be honest, the campus placement at ADP College is average. Students become eligible for placements from the 5th or 6th semester. Since this is a general degree college, we don't see very big tech giants visiting frequently. Mostly, students try for off-campus drives like TCS Smart Hiring or Wipro WILP. Some local IT firms and agencies from Nagaon and Guwahati also visit the campus. The average salary package is around 1.8 Lakhs to 2.5 Lakhs per annum. The highest package usually goes up to 3 Lakhs. Around 30% to 40% of students get placed, mostly in roles like Junior Developer, System Support, or BPO sectors. Many students prefer to go for higher studies instead of taking these jobs.

Placement Experience:

For campus placement the students should be in final semester or should be graduated.. Automobile companies visit for the placement and it is limited. The package they offer is like 5-6 LPA . 5% of the total students are getting the placements. My plan is to prepare for competitive exams after getting the degree .

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I wanted to learn coding and pursue my dream as a web development. Our department prepare us well for real-world applications by making us doing project and assignments that are related to real world applications for our further future. We are learning how to do static and dynamic projects. They should change some of their teaching method as for labs (partical) and give more explanation on that as some teachers are not that good in explaining a practical part . Theory exams are easy but practical parts is a little difficult sometimes due to the lack of understanding the subject but some are easy.
