Entrance Preview

Entrance Examinations: JEE (AIR 5063),AIEEE (AIR 10021), I wanted to study in pure sciences, and so my choices were Integrated M.Sc. at RCST,Durg. I was allotted RCSTd I happily accepted the chance.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, it does, but it is very, very situational. There is no official open program for internships at RCST but there have been cases where people working on relevant projects who contacted a specific professor were allowed for a summer internship.

Placement Experience

The placement cell is great, very proactive and very vigilant. It is well managed and quite strict rules are enforced for companies and students alike. Almost all students who sit in placements are placed with some job.

Hostel Facilities

A cool, green, and pleasant atmosphere in Rungta stimulates positive learning and provides a lively environment for healthy interactions among the students and also with their mentors. The central cafeteria at Rungta College offers faculty and students a place not only to relax but also to enjoy their food in a cozy atmosphere while sharing their ideas

The faculty is in general good and helpful. Some of the older professors are old-fashioned (outdated) due to their old age and are unable to capture the class' attention, but most of them are actually very knowledgeable. However nearly every department is hiring younger faculty

Collages offered placement but I can't join any type of placement. They trained all students for their placement i.e. they perform good in his interview and they got selected. Every year many students selected in different different branches and their poster are shown in campus .

Forensic science department review

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course has 4 semesters and is divided as follows.. 1st semester has 5 theory and 2 practical (general introduction to forensic science and ciriminology , crime scene management, instrumental analysis in forensic science, forensic biology, and serology ) 2nd sem also has 5 theory subjects and 2 practicals. Meanwhile syllabus for 3rd and 4th semester has not been provided. The teaching method is traditional chalk and talk . The semester has 2 CTS and finals at the end of 6 months .

cource are all over good . but the faculties are needed to improve the teaching methods and start giving us hands on experience to get industry ready. exams are held after every 3-4 months including two internals and one end semester exam.

Remarks:

Teachers are corporative but education system is not so good. The infrastructure should be better. The time table is not appropriate to m.sc students because the college time starts from 10AM to 5PM. Thee students can't get enough time for self study. The laboratory should be more advanced as the the instruments for practical should be available all time.

My college from my eyes

To be honest the main thing is This college fees structure I'mean I'm doing a bachelors degree and many colleges are taking like 8-11 lakhs and I don't think so it's worth it . And in this college they are only taking 1.78 lakhs and your degree is completed that's it.
