Remarks

The students who secured 85% in the previous exams will have the chance to get a fee concession while on admission to our college. An application form can be found near the notification board. Admission fees can now be paid online via SBI collect.

Course Curriculum Overview

I took this course because of its future scope and also because I had a passion for it. The ratio is 1:3 for 13 students and 1 teacher. Teachers' qualifications: MSc, bed, Ph.D. Every three months, our university itself conducts semester exams, while college faculty conduct weekly tests.

Class Size: 75Course Fees: INR 15000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Every year, Infosys, Tata, automobile companies such as Kia, and others conduct campus placement offers in our college. Internship like project on sewage treatment operation.

Placement Experience

Students in their fifth and sixth semesters are eligible for the campus placement cell. Only 50–60% of students get campus placement offers. I would get into post-grad courses like an MSc in physics.

Fees and Financial Aid

Every year for every batch, the fees get hiked because of the need to provide a healthy environment for the students. The fee hikes are not much, but it's getting a 2000–3000 hike year by year. Scholarships like Vidya Siri, SSP are applied by us but we didn't get funds.

Campus Life

Annual fests like Ethnic Fest were recently conducted by our university last month, and also every month there is a healthy sports competition. sports like volleyball, football, handball, and cricket. "psi mitra" groups on WhatsApp, for example.

There is no official records of placements for SST as its a new college, but they do provide placements, also they provide internships in third year itself with a average stipend of 25k. The highest stipend that was offered was 2.5 lakhs from a german based company.

Our curriculum includes syllabus in regard to that of National Education Policy scheme where in we have 2 core subjects. I chose biotechnology and genetics since it something I really look forward to pursue as my career in the field. We had one subject as open elective which enhanced our curriculum since we could choose from various course every semester. Indian Statistical Institute- A brief Insight

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements right after completing their B.Math(Hons) degree, i.e after their 6th semester. Companies like Microsoft, Google, LinkedIn, Wipro, and other Multinational Companies visit and every student gets an offer from one company or the other. The package ranges from 10LPA to 25LPA. Those students who opt for placement after their B.Math(Hons) course is over, all get a placement offer while most of the students prefer to continue their Master's Degree. I too would like to complete my Master's Degree after my bachelor and think about further options thereafter.
