It was a good experience and it would have been better if they introduced more courses in the main streams which are in support with present scenario, maybe politics or sports where everyone could present their views as well.

You get into this college either in 3 ways. First writing CET (Common entrance test) or else it is COMED-K or else on basis of Management quota (for the rich kids). I got into Electronics course on the basis of my rank in CET which was 1940. This test is taken up by people through out the state of Karnataka.

The course curriculum and faculty were pretty good enough to teach you to survive in life, not much of 'Out of the box' stuff but still pretty decent for a college in a major city like Bangalore. The best part is that there is not much traffic to reach this college.

In my course of studies in this college, we were not offered any Internship. Although they did support if people were pursuing Internship outside and had to skip classes due to this. Recently i did get to know that students nowadays do get Internship offers by few elite companies through some test/exam.

Placement and job opportunities are better than many of the colleges out there in our city. The placement officer is very much helpful to students in all ways possible. There were students who could not get through many of the company's tests but our officer went out of the way in requesting the companies to provide another chance to consider those particular students as well.

Events were good although there were less events. There are two main fests wherein one is Intra college and Inter college fest. The better one is the Inter college one where even students from other college can participate and win goodies. The college is very supportive in this manner, to add to this, there are separate Department fests as well.

The fee structure now has changed and depends on what all you need to opt. The fees change according to your admission.

There is loan facility available in our college, Scholarship is also offered on caste and merit basis.

Campus life now has become better than when i used to study there. Gender ratio i would say is 65:35 the larger being guys. It was pretty diverse and all extra curricular activities were supported by the teachers and students as well. The lab and competitions were good but there were less competitions such as debates and these happen only in fests.

Hostel is just like the usual hostel that is in every other college. The mess food is manageable but i would say once a week to eat out is good.

Yeah the alumni network do help when asked for, the seniors are good. Atleast the ones that i met and networked through are good.

The faculty are very supportive in case you are interested in other activities apart from current curriculum.
