GMIT - WAY TO SUCCESS

Eligibility for the course is a minimum of 60% marks in the Higher Secondary Exam in the Science Group. I was admitted through WBJEE marks. I searched about the college on the website, and from fro there I know about the details.

My course is in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE). I choose this course because I am very addicted to the electronics component and also I also apply in any IT company means there is also software jobs opportunity. Our faculties are very good, always helpful. Whenever I faced any problem in college or any educational issue, they always helps at all times. They are very friendly with students. There are 8 semesters in my course. It's not very hard to pass all exams. If you regularly do your classwork and homework, you can easily pass.

Bassetti which is an IT-based company is taking more students from our college for internships. They give almost 10k-15k in the internship period, which is a good amount for freshers. They firstly hire the students and then train them professionally and then they give projects to them. The project's maximum is from US and UK. Also TCS, Wipro, etc are offered internships and give a good stipend.

From the 3rd-year 6th semester, students are eligible for placements. There are many companies are coming to our campus like Bassetti, TSC, Wipro, and many more. The Highest package from our college campusing is 4 LPA and the average package as per company in approx 2-3 LPA. Almost 90- 95 %of students are getting placement sets from our course.

You will have to pay fees for reading for the current semester. There are many facilities are given to you along with the semester fees like internet facilities, hospitality, etc. I got Aikyashree Scholarship, so I have to pay very less amount of fees in my semester.

There is every year January month organized a Cultural Fest by the students. We enjoyed those days with lots of fun. Also organized a tech-fest by the college. There is a library on our campus, from where got many books for reading. Every year Annual Sports are conducted by our college. Many Indoor and outdoor games are present there. Students participate in any of the games and last day a prize ceremony program is organized. In our college Blood Donation camp, the Tree plantation program, the and Organ Donation program are conducted.
