Remarks

I got admission through the process of REAP, and then my parents and I visited the college campus for proper knowledge about the college and its environment, among many other things. In that reap form, I opted for computer science with artificial intelligence, and by the results, I got admission into the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because it was a new branch and I found it interesting. With my parents' advice, I chose this branch. The overall environment is good; the staff are friendly and well qualified; proper knowledge about the subject is given before teaching it and then we study that subject.

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 85800 per year

Internships Opportunities

We are in our first year only and our college is providing internships to the students in the summer holidays, which are after the RTU exams. Our preparation for the internship started from day one itself. We worked on different software and hardware projects and represented in front of faculties of different colleges.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees in comparison with other colleges are good and affordable. The students can also avail facilities like scholarships. There are many types of scholarships available, like gargi etc. I am in first year only I don't know about the job opportunity but it's training has been started from day 1.

Campus Life

Our college also thinks about the social life of their students. They organize various fests like Adhar. It's the biggest fest organized by our college and it runs for about 4 days and its preparation starts about 1 month prior. Celebrities are also invited to this fest.

My straightforward Review of my college life

Placement Experience:

Placements in my collage are not very strong. A few companies visit, but the number is limited and the offer are also not very high . The average package is on the lower side and only a small number of students get placed through the campus. After completing my degree my plans is to continue improving my technical skills and apply for jobs outside the campus where the chances and salary packages are better.

From 5th semester students get eligible for campus placement. Tata, Infosys, Reliance, Infotech, etc.. Highest package is 52lpa and average package is 6lpa . Mainly 40 percent get placed from college campuses. I do my new startup.

Placement Experience:

IIIT Kota was initially running at the MNIT Jaipur which is under top 10 nits. IIIT Kota's placements faced a drastic decrement in placement percentage from 92% in 2021 to 74% in 2024, because the campus had shifted to kota in 2021. In 2023-2024 the number of offers was 140 and eligible students were 162, the higest package was of 65 lakh and avg was 13.09. Companies such as yamaha, jio, oyo, infosys, microsoft, samsung sds, amazon capegimini etc visits. Student not only dependent on on- campus, but should also be in touch of off-campanies, and in good approach with their senior. I will frequently keep applying for job interviews.
