Review of Poornima College of Engineering

Likes

Faculty of this college is too much good .
Class will be taken at a time it explains both in lab or class in full details.
Surroundings environment is also good only students of this college living and coming in college

Dislikes

They give to much assignment and project.
Their campus is too small not a playground.
Canteen is common for both girls and boys.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester students get eligible for campus placement. Tata, Infosys, Reliance, Infotech, etc.. Highest package is 52lpa and average package is 6lpa . Mainly 40 percent get placed from college campuses. I do my new startup.

My college life

Likes

I like the studies I like the faculty I like the students here also everything is good here
Mess food is also fine also there is a good infrastructure

Dislikes

I dislike the behaviour of some people because some people are very rude and arrogant

Placement Experience:

Placement drive is also very good but it starts in 6th semester also student have to give benchmark test to get seated in placement drive my plans after degrees to get a good job the highest and average package is almost the same that is 5 lakh but students who study very hard gets more package

Campus life is the best

Placement drive is very good most of the children get placed also the environment is very good children are very good in a faculty is very helpful
the faculty is very interactive with the students then structure infrastructure is very good the architecture of the colleges very nice
I love the nature of the students also the principle

Dislikes

I disliked is the food of the mess

Placement Experience:

Infosys visit here and many other companies visit here the students are prepared for the companies also benchmark test occurs in a college which helps in doing filtration before hand also we are taught very nicely

What is appreciated about college is their focus on academics not every private college focus on academics but they do and it's great if we compare to other private colleges.
The placements aren't that good but they try hard to get you placed so yes the companies do visit the most visiting companies are celebal,tcs
The campus is just fine it have different blocks for first year and others also have two garden to hangout and a basket ball court.

Dislikes

There isn't a very good college life like as I said they are mainly focusing on academics so events aren't that good as they can be
Campus isn't big enough so you barely get any place to roam around with your friends
Placement aren't very high it's around 5lakh ctc which is low

Placement Experience:

The placements cell try their best to get as many students placed as they can.many companies visit us including celebal, tcs and I don't know about the percentage but it's pretty good not everyone will get the placement but yes who have time to their studies will definitely get one.the average package is around 5lakh per anum ctc it can go upto 25 to 30.lakh based on your knowledge entirely

Likes

Poornima college of engineering follows a structured accademic curriculum affiliated with RTU ensuring quality education.
Poornima college of engineering promotes an active campus environment with various technical, cultural, sports activities like adhar arohan.
Poornima college of engineering has mix of experienced professor assistant professor and industry professionals .

Dislikes

Placement ratio are decent core engineering job opportunities
I feel that certain faculty members focus more on traditional teaching rather than innovative
Attendance policy are strict and hostel rules such as curfew timming

The poornima college of engineering follows RTU system which is designed to provide a strong theoretical foundations but has area's where it could be improved for better industry allignment . Poornima college of engineering has strong foundation but needs some modern updates more practical learning and flexible elective choices

The life at college

Likes

I like the balance between studies and events for students refreshment
The teachers are well experienced and hence teachers very well .

Course Curriculum Overview:

As semiconductor industries are going to be set up in our country hance there will be need of ec engineers. Exam papers are not really tough if you pay attention in your classes then you'll know that only the taught things comes in exams.

The good infrastructure in the college and labs are very good and the computer having the latest software and provide all the paid software in the labs.
The faculties are very friendly and very helping nature and always available for the students and always ready to help students.
60 percent students get a placement. The highest package is 32 LPA which is off campus. Average package is only about 3 LPA. Packages are not very good. The internship opportunities are also very few.

Placement Experience:

The placement of the college are good but not too much excellent.From the sixth semester students are eligible to apply for the placement derives. There are so many companies which are visited in the college and provide the offer to the students. Some of the companies are In Time Tec,Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant,TCS,ICICI etc. The percentage of the students which are getting placed from the college are 85% .

First the infrastructure of college is very well amd it is autonomous and also have NAAC A+ grade aproved
The placement ratio of college is always good
Faculty are well trained and help and guide us

After the 6 sem the student is eligible for on campus at the placement time many companies visit campus like amazon tcs wipro infosys accenture the highest package is approx 45 lac After getting i perferd to placed in mnc company with good placement

There is a good field of computer science ( artificial intelligence) and it is taking the jobs of the future generations and the curriculum and teaching methods is good and the frequency and timing of exams along with difficulty level.

College have different clubs for other campus activities
College have supporting teacher and faculty
There is no restrictions ,we can ask freely

Dislikes

College campus is very small and old infrastructure
In college campus there is no sports facilities
In college computer facilities are not good enough

Placement Experience:

•From 7th semester We are eligible for sit in college placement •TCS ,vipro , Infosys etc and other small companies • highest package is 6LPA and lowest is 2LPA • Actually there are 720 students in campus ° only those students have eligible for sit in placement those have no back till 7th semester, CGPA grater than 7.5 etc
