Review for Poornima college of Engineering, Jaipur

I have searched on google about the college, and discussed to some seniors for the course admission. Curriculum is good and we can learn many things here. College conducts some technical events so that we can learn and partecipate. College has some coding clubs that conduct hackathons also. College can improve in syllabus and academics and focus on major subject according to branch and department. college start on 8.30 am and 4 classes of 1 hour continuously, then a 50 minutes break for lunch and then continue two classes of each 1 hour.

College provide good internships and certifications programs. Internship in celebal technogies and we can enroll any internship by self. There is no restrctions for interships off campus. Aadhar technical event is compulsory and we can make hardware and software projects there.

The placement is average and college provide placement in third year. All who are in good cgpa and eligible for placement. There was many componies visited last year. Some of them was TCS, Infosys, Celebal technologies, and other local technical componies which is jaipur based. Highest package was about 13 LPA and average is about 6 LPA. Eligible student are can take part in placement and percentage is about 80 percent who are eligible. I will try to take good internship and placement during degree and then i will make my own start up

My fees is approx 142000 yearly. Tuition fees is about 82700 rupees, registration fees is 20 thousand which will be adjusted in tuition fees later. Development fees is about12800 which is reduced to 9400 this year. RTU enrollment fees is 1500 and exam fees per semester is 2500 rupees. RTU document processing fees is about 3250 rupees. They take 4000 rupees as uniform and stationary and 5000 rupees as other activity. Some of student take admission in TFWS seat and they get full tuition fees relaxation. College provide some scholarships according to your last academics scores.

College has annual fest named as Aarohan and technical fest name as Aadhar. There is also a hostel fest. Aarohan and Aadhar is held in february. and hostel fest is held in october approx. We can issue any book ensily, there is no difficulty and we had to renew book pass after a week of issue date otherwise we get panulty as 1 rupee per day. Classroom facility is good and all classes had pre fixed projector and some had smart boards. Collge had basket ball ground and also pickle ball, bad minton, and indoor games like table tannis, chess, carrom board etc. There are many clubs in the college. Named as Zircon club for technical events, cyfox for coding, hack it sapiens for cyber knowledge and workshop. Also yoga and sport clubs.

Hostel has optional room and fan, cooler or ducting. Daily cleaning in the common places and every saturday in the room. Hostel has a whatsapp group for care take and we can register any complaint there and get ressolved in 2 to 3 days. Meal is average. In starting food was too good but now average quality. Menu is good but quality is not good. Hostel registration fees is 20 thousand. And other fees in 5 installement. First four installments is of 25500 and then last installment varies according to room facility. No im hosteller so no rented room or PG.

I applied in REAP councelling and got ajmer govt college, and here in poornima college, i got tfws seat. So i chose the poornima college because the fees was same and the facilities here is too good. I tried for jee exam but didnt got good score so I had to take admission here. The college admission process is based on REAP councelling, I got admission under reap, college also take direct admission but fees is little bit high.

Faculty student ratio is good. Every section has around 60 students and provide daily 6 hours classes in each section. Faculty is very good and we can learn many things by them. I liked Mr. Brahmmdutt Bohra sir. They teach us Computer programming like C, C++ and OOPs. There is no faculty that I didnt liked but some subjects like chemistry and Manufactory lab is very boring as a computer science student. They take 3 Mid term exams. In first two mid terms, they take written test, and third mid term contains Assignments, surprise tests, Quiz and projects in lab. and 1 end semester exam in the end. level of mid terms exam papers is high then end semester exams. So the some student gets failed in mid term but secure good in end semester exam.

Yes I have participated in smart india hackathon and i was the leader. I'm first year student so i dont have interview questions idea. Process of admission is through reap councelling which is rajasthan state councelling and based on jee mains and 12th board score. And there is also direct admission process but i dont have clear idea. I have scored good score in Jee mains and 12th board also so my reap rank was good and I got TFWS seat in this college.

Yes the is gym in the college with all the require equipment. Library is too good with good wifi and books and computer facility. there are two gardens in the college. Hostel is open 24 hours for boys but girl had restrictions for 12am to 6am. they cannot go out in this timing. College buildings are open for 7 am to 4 pm. and campus is always open for hostellers.
