Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course because I found many opportunities after completion of this course, and many companies hire. the faculties of this college are so helpful for students..all teachers are so qualified and knowledgeable they have good teaching skills.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 330000 per year

Internships Opportunities

There are so many companies that give internships to college students, like TCS, Bassetti, Cognizant, Amazon, Airtel, etc in many roles. We do so many projects like water plants, solar energy, etc to clarify the task.

Placement Experience

From 5h sem students became eligible for campus placements.TCS, Cognizant, Amazon, Airtel, Wipro, etc. highest salary package is 10 to12 lakh. and the minimum is 3lakh and the average salary per year 6lakh.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total course fee is 3300000 and we have to pay 80000 per year. I got an SVMCM scholarship, and many other scholarships are available like national, oasis etc and also get loans like student credit card scheme..college provides internships

Campus Life

Our annual festival is Festa which is conducted in the month of March-April in our library, there are more than 20 thousand books available and we have cricket league, football league, volleyball and many more games.

Story of hit

Placement Experience:

The campus placement from recently past years is slightly good . Placement Experience:

7th semester is when the students get to sit for placements. I am not sure about the total no of companies visited but I am aware of the name of few companies like IBM Infosys Wipro Capsitech Tech Mahindra cognizant etc . Mostly the girls are 100 percent placed cause there is diversity hiring. Mass recruiters is what visit our campus mostly.. I personally would look for a job after graduation highest package offered displayed by college is 75 lpa but I don't think so it is real. Maybe someone had worked hard and got placed off campus. On campus highest isbi guess 12-14 lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

- I choose Data Science as it is new to my college when comparing with the other branches. The curriculum is just okay it is not per industry standards but if students deep drives in each aspects then they are likely to crack GATE exams. - The whole curriculum needs and improvement from the very 1st Year and removal of irrelevant subjects like Discrete Mathematics, Electonics, Biology for IT branches are required. - Semester exams are conducted every 6 months and CTs are conducted every 2 months

NIT Durgapur:-A wholesome Insight in the college life and it's different aspects

Placement Experience:

For campus placements student become eligible from the 7th semester onwards and for internships student get eligible from 5th semester onwards. Wide no of companies visited our campus around 180+ and made around 580+ offers to the students. The highest salary was 58LPA which was offered by DE Shaw and the highest accepted salary was 51LPA in Microsoft.The average package rolls roughly around 10-12 LPA.The profile offered include SDE roles, management roles,finance in some cases.The overall placement percentage was around 80% with Branches like electrical and metallurgy moving above 90% followed by CSE and ECE in the mid 80s while for biotech and civil the placement percentage are generally below 70.My plans after getting the degree is to land a job offer from on campus placements.Therefafter maybe look out for and MBA from top B schools of india.

Our college campus is fully green campus. All teachers and faculty members are highly qualified and very helpful. All the classrooms are well groomed. Library is very good. All types of books are available in our library. Semester fees is comfortable for all types of students. Admission process is very easy. All types of scholarship are available for all students. Laboratories are decorated by updated instruments. Gym is available in our college. Playground is very clean. Many outdoor games (like: Football, Cricket, badminton etc.) and indoor games (like: chess, caram etc.) are available in our campus. 24Ã—7 hours electricity and water are available.
