Eligibility of the Course - 10 + 2 passed from any recognized board. Students from any stream can apply. At NSHM, the entire admission process can be completed in a hassle-free manner. To ensure a seamless experience for all students, counselors and faculty members present to offer guidance and support throughout the entire process.

Course Curriculum Overview

My interest in Computer IT and Programming led me to choose BCA. The BCA program includes all of the core subjects that are essential to a successful career. In the BCA department, teachers are excellent. Their knowledge is extensive and they are highly qualified. Our teachers constantly interacted with us and inquired about our doubts individually. They help you learn beyond the boundaries if you are interested in learning.

Class Size: 32Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Students can choose from a variety of internship programs. As an example, industrial training provided by IIT Kanpur allowed us to choose what type of training we wanted to pursue. As part of their efforts, the department attempt to provide new opportunities for students, whether it is training or internships.

Placement Experience

I am very pleased with the placements. The majority of students are placed in good companies through 42 placement drives. As a result of the outstanding learning culture of our BCA department, I received offers from 3 multinational companies. I was also selected for the Google Summer of Code.

Fees and Financial Aid

3-year BCA course in NSHM, Durgapur costs Rs.360000. Scholarships are also available. Students can receive a maximum of 50% scholarship on course fees under the Asha Jyoti Scholarship program. An educational loan facility is also available.

Campus Life

We have many facilities at our college, including good labs, a fantastic library with many helpful and knowledgable books, and a reading room and WiFi access. There are standard-sized classrooms decorated with projectors, and the food served in the canteen is excellent. Annual fests are organized every year.

Remarks:

A Nurturing Place to Learn and Thrive

I decided to take up Clinical Psychology over Applied Psychology for my Master's. I searched for colleges and Universities near my home town Durgapur. Most of the colleges offer an M.A. or M.Sc. in Applied Psychology. NSHM Durgapur and Kolkata offer M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology.
