Remarks

A person gets admission to this college by NEET exam It is a government college One of the best medical colleges in Andhra Pradesh 2 to 3 phases of counseling will be done for the admissions all over the state

Course Curriculum Overview

Yearly 3 internals will be there and every year final exams will be conducted all over the state If we read properly we will pass Practicals will be conducted for every exam Attendance is very important

Class Size: 175Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Internships Opportunities

It's a medical college so we will do internships in the hospital We can go to other places also for the internship We will get a stipend during the internship period The internship is mandatory for Mbbs course

Fees and Financial Aid

The college fee is 12000 per year, there will be no fee hike Scholarships will be there but I didn't receive any type of scholarship, we will get a stipend during the internship period, and after the fourth year we will do an internship.

Campus Life

Every year annual fest will be conducted All books will be available in the library Sports and extracurricular activities will be good Sports leagues will be conducted regularly Instagram pages are run by students

The life of a medico in a government medical college

Placement Experience:

There is no such thing as campus placement in medical courses.. we are provided with internship with the linked hospital with an approximate stipend of 30k per month for a year and after that we receive the course completion certificate and we can either practice in a clinic or pursue the post graduation upon our interests..

A Glimpse into Excellence: Review on Andhra Medical College, Vizag

Course Curriculum Overview:

MBBS is the only course that could make me a surgeon that I always wanted to become, hence I chose this course I choose this college due to its high patient load . I could also go to AIIMS Deogarh, Jammu, Guwahati, Madhurai or Jipmer Karaikal but I choose AMC over them is due to Patient load only.Here I can get good clinical exposure compared to those There are programs like Family Adoption programme, Early Clinical Exposure form the first year itself , and from second year only students go to ward postings. There is always real world application in this course This course particularly dont want any improvements in my opinion, NMC regulates and improves the curriculum in real time and that is implemented in this college perfectly. For every like 3 months we have internal exams to assess ourselves . And final exams in the last.
