Remarks

College is good when it comes to studies. But when it comes to modernisation we have to go far. Being a co-ed college students should be allowed to interact.

Entrance Preview

I did gave JEE mains and BITSAT but my score was not that good. Along with these exams i gave COMEDK which is conducted in karnataka for students all over india. Initially i was not sure to take admission in bangalore but my COMEDK score was good enough. My rank was around 4000 in which my chance was good to get admission in one of the top 10 college. Therefore I took admission un rnsit computer science branch.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

I am in third year of my course but till now computer science and engineering is fun course. Yes the subject is vast but for incresing it industry it is good choice specially in bangalore. Electives are there from 6th semester therefore i dont have any idea about it but hope that it will fun to study somethong like this.

Internships Opportunities

Based on the competition one winner group is selected and students do get internship offers. So this provides a good platform for all students to get internship.

Placement Experience

3.5

Placement and job opportunity is good. Since it is not some IIT or NIT therefore we cannot hope for very big companies to come for placement. But 95 percent of students get placed which is a good percentage. Average salary offered is 4 lakhs per annum.

College Events

3.5

Odd semester is full of studies but even and semester is very hectic because of fests (bith cultural and technical). Intercollege fest is pantheon which held every alternate year offcourse because of shortage of funds. But fest is too good and full of enjoyment. Then there is one intracollege fest parichay which also very good. MBA fest is also organised gesteon. Some other branch organised fest are there.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Fee structure is different fir different students. I mean CET students pay less fee comedk students have to high fee(too high). Dont know why this discrimination. But its ok. I am from COMEDK therefore my fee is 1.6 lakh per annum. Hostel fee is not included in this (sad).

Fees and Financial Aid

Since i am non karnataka student. I have always been cut off from scholarship. But local students i mean karnatakites di get scholarship. On what basis i have no idea, hope that day comes soon when north indian will get be given scholarship.

Campus Life

4

Campus is not that large and sadly after 8 we cannot roam inside the campus. I know its so frustrating but we are now used to it. Gender ratio is 2:1 we have 2 boys hostel and one girls hostel.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

Hostel is so much fun. Hostel accommodation is awesome. Rooms are very big. Three or four girls share single. All the rooms have attached bathroom. Twice in week workers come for cleaning.now lets come to mess food. Not good at all. But unfortunately we h

Alumni/Alumna

No comments. But since i have to write so i will drag this part. I dont think that there is alumni meet organised by college. So hope that pass out students do some hard work on their own.

Exam Structure

Our college comes under visvesvarya technical university. Maybe you heard and if not let me tell vtu is one of the strict universities in india. Also the exam conducted is quite tough. Each theory paper is for 125 mark. 100 external 25 internal. laborator

Placement Experience:

The institute records an impressive average package of ~INR 7.20 LPA and the highest packages reaching up to INR 53.50 LPA. The college actively drives employability through a dedicated 'Talent Transformation Hub'. Campus Placements Overview CIT is known for its solid industry connections, resulting in 80–90% placement rates annually. Top Recruiters: Companies like Accenture, Infosys, HP, Amazon, and Samsung. The Process: The placement cell conducts specialized skill-building boot camps and provides structured mentorship to ensure students are corporate-ready by graduation. If Placements Fall Short: Employability & Alternative Plans Even though CIT consistently places the vast majority of its batch, students who do not secure on-campus job offers (or wish to pursue other paths) have robust support through: Startup & Entrepreneurial Initiatives: CIT has an active E-Cell and a business connection to help budding founders. The Talent Transformation Hub focuses on practical knowledge needed to start a business. Higher Education: Students frequently leverage the college's alumni network and faculty mentorship to prepare for competitive exams like GATE, or to apply for Master's programs (MS, M.Tech) in India or abroad. This is the best part. The whole point of niat program is to get a study for the job. It's not like the old system where you chill for 3 years and panic in the 4th year. All the learning here are very different. From the first day itself we will be doing coding.
