A roller-coaster ride

For b.com Hons you need a minimum of 60% in your overall 12th board result. The admission is based on the entrance exam only, only some portion of the 12th board marks are considered. The main focus is on the entrance exam of the IP university. You can easily find the application form on the ipu university page, the application fee is around 1200 and the dates get extended usually. I just want to add that the admission process in my time was quite long and delayed which needs to be imported

The choose this course as I wanted to do b.com Hons. The faculty members are quite good, supportive and create a friendly environment. Students' strength is around 80 for both shifts. The teaching method is also very engaging, interactive and understanding. Faculty are qualified as an assistant professors and we have PhD holder professors too. The exams were usually after 2-3 months, they were quite easy not that difficult if one studies.

Internships are offered from the 2nd year but I would recommend doing them in the 1st year itself. There are different kinds of internships for every course such as sales, accountant, HR, etc. stipend goes from 2k-10k or can be more than that.

From the 2nd year itself which is the 3rd semester, students become eligible for internships and from 3 years they are eligible for campus placements. The highest package offered was 10 lakhs by BYJU and the average package offered is between 1-3 lakhs. A lot of companies visit here and quite good offers are here. You all need to have a good percentage for that. My plans after getting the degree are to get placed with a nice package and in a reputed company.

The fee structure is around 118000 for 1 year and yes the college does provide scholarship opportunities to the ones deserving. Financial assistance is also provided. There are some benefits for the reservation categories too here.

Our college has quite a good infrastructure. There is the availability of books for all courses and the library is quiet a book and nice. There are a number of active societies here such as NSS, Rotaract club, frames, Eco club, E-cell, coding club, fashion society, dance society, music society and more such interesting clubs. I was part of many events as I'm quite active in the societies. I was part of an inter-college PIXCLUSIVE event of the photography society which was a success. E-cell too organised an espresso event about stall making business. NSS Is very active among all societies and has 6 projects under it working actively. I have been part of many NSS events such as a 3-day camp, etc. there is a sports society too. Our college is quite active in co-curriculum activities.
