Remarks
The eligibility for the course is to be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized college or university. The selection process involves an entrance test where general as well as specific questions are asked as multiple choice question. There is no negative marking. Course Curriculum Overview
I had a genuine interest to learn about economics and its dynamics. The course curriculum is satisfactory, The syllabus is vast, covers all the aspects of economics. Any discrepancies are reviewed every 3 years. The faculty student ratio almost 1:12. All the faculty members are PhD in economics. Their teaching method involves both traditional as well as interactive smart classroom sessions. The term exams are conducted timely and passing it depends on how you have attended the classes and done your self study.
Fees and Financial Aid
The semester fee as for 2021 batch is Rs 16000 inclusive of all the taxes. It remains constant for the current batch. Various scholarship programs provided by the government are applicable in this university where proper verification is done for the same. No other financial assistance is given. Since the department is newly established in 2017, the placement opportunities are very thin.
Campus Life
The campus is green and has ample infrastructure. There are different fests and they are organized by different departments solitarily. It has a very vast resource library having books and journal and even dedicated reference and text sections. Classrooms are well furnished and we have a smart classrooms as well, which are used as and when required. There are various extra curricular activities in the campus and various tournaments and competitions in sports as well as other workshops for the research scholars and others.
