Remarks

We gave the CET and joined the college based on our performance and class 10th and 12th results. Also, the subject combinations matter where Computer and Mathematics were compulsory with at least 60% marks.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum was very detailed and updated to the current scenario of the IT industry. The faculties and their teaching methods are great. For doubts, they clear them and put full effort towards our doubt clearance.

Internships Opportunities

There are many internship programs available for the students. For example, Industrial Training from IIT Kanpur was provided where we chose what training we want to pursue. There were multiple options.

Placement Experience

The students pursuing BCA, are eligible for placements from their 5th semester. They need to have at least 60% marks throughout their academic session. If you are at least an average student, you can at least be placed in one company. For bright students, more than one placements are to be expected. Faculties work very hard for placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure might seem high, but it pays off. The quality of teachers, their teaching methods, and infrastructure, are phenomenal. There is a scholarship program where a student may be rebated up to 40%. For availing of this, the student might have eligible marks and they must pass the scholarship exam.

Campus Life

The life on the campus is great. The great labs and classrooms make it even better. The playgrounds are great and big enough. The gym and canteen are great. The co-curriculum is a great addition to the current infrastructure.

Remarks:

A Nurturing Place to Learn and Thrive

I decided to take up Clinical Psychology over Applied Psychology for my Master's. I searched for colleges and Universities near my home town Durgapur. Most of the colleges offer an M.A. or M.Sc. in Applied Psychology. NSHM Durgapur and Kolkata offer M.Sc. in Clinical Psychology.
