PIET - Choice of Lakhs

So basically I got admission on the basis of JEE Mains Rank plus I also got Scholarship on basis of Class 12 Marks. I have applied for HSTES Counselling and I got this college. Then I visited this college and after seeing everything and fully satisfied with the procedure, I filled the application form which you can easily get through the account office. Also you can apply for this same through official website of PIET.

So I choose Bachelor of Technology - Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) because it has wide scope in future IT industries. Faculty is also good here, but specialized faculty is not available in more numbers. Student-Teacher ratio is about 1:50. All the faculty here well qualified and some of the faculties are PhD holders. The exams are really good and always on time.

Our college has tied up with many International Universities for internship opportunities which helps in growth of student in industrial world. There is also student exchange program. Many projects like VEERA or Mr. Topper or Big Bucket are the successful projects whose outcome is really fantastic.

From 6 semester the students become eligible for campus placement. Many highly reputed companies like WIPRO ,TCS, Mahindra visits PIET and offers several job opportunity to the Students. Around 87% to 90% students get placed with good LPA. My plan is to get placed in a Big Tech Company like Infosys or Wipro so that I can make my college and my parents proud

For my batch (2020-2024) the fees is Rs. 108000/- but there is a sudden increase in the fees after 2020. It's about Rs. 140000/- right now. College also provides scholarships on the basis of Boards Marks/ JEE Rankings. There is also Super-30 Batch for the startups which also provide scholarships.

Life at PIET is really although there are several restrictions on hostellers. PIET organizes two big fest every year i.e. Maestro and Carbuncle. Library is opened till 10PM and library is also vast with variety of books available. There is also many sports event organizes by PIET. PIET also has many startups and Clubs for students

Hostel life is quite peaceful here. Many facilities are provided here. Mess food is sometimes really good and sometime very bad but I think that's why it is called 'MESS'. You can easily rent a room in hostel by filling up a form and submitting it to the Hostel incharge. Locality is also good here but you have to wait for transport to reach college as the college is on main highway.

Well I have been interviewed by the faculty members of PIET. All they just asked me is "Why you want to opt for CSE and specially AIML?", "What are your short term and Long Term Goals?", "Achievements in your school life." and many more about your life. I have prepared them by discussing with brother and with my sister.
