This course provides good knowledge. I wanted to explore the field of economics, and business scenarios so I opted for this course. It gives you knowledge about your economy, how your economy works, how to maintain balance in your economy, how to increase the national income, and how to run the financial system. The faculty is very efficient, skilled, and active. There are about 400 students in the department and 10 faculty members. The faculty is well educated. All are PhD teachers. They use new, innovative, and effective methods of teaching. Workshops are conducted, and assignments are prepared by students. In a semester , midterms and finals are conducted. If we prepare our subjects in routine then it's very easy to get good marks.

The fee structure is fixed. It is a government university so the fees are set accordingly. Scholarships are provided to sports students. Reserved category students and economically weaker students are provided financial assistance. Placements are provided and stipends are also provided to those who do work here.

Some fests are also conducted like Exodium and Tech fest. They are conducted in the months of October, and November. Some craft festivals, and book fares are also conducted. You can enhance your skills there. Classrooms have proper lights, fans and a projector system. Departmental sports competition are conducted. A separate physical education department is present. Hostel Life is very enjoyable. You can make your best memories over there. A single bed and table chair is provided for each person. The quality of the meal is moderate and the menu is fixed which is already decided by the authorities. When you get admission to your course then you are able to apply for your hostel. Forms will be out after admissions and after paying the fees for hostel allotment of the hostel is started. You can go to the office of your hostel and the staff will allow you the room. There is the availability of PG also. They are near to universities like some in Kabeer park or near Khalsa College.
