Review on Gitam University, Hyderabad campus

There was an online entrance exam, due to covid. We have to get a rank of below 3000, to get a concession of 25%, and below 1500 to get concession of 50% & below 100 for complete concession on the tuition fee. There is no reservations for this as it's a private university. There is also fee concession for the gitam alumini members. The payment method must be improved or to be precise add other payment options rather that NEFT payment, it takes gate way charges. There will be additional 5% fee concession if you pay the total tuition fee of that academic year.

The overall course curriculum is good. There are many professors who have done their Ph.D.'s in their respective subjects. The course I've chosen was implemented for the first time at that University. So it would be better to take a specialization as the fee structure is the same as with non-specialization. But there will be exams every 1.5 months and a final exam in a semester. The mid-exams will be conducted in 3 days, 2 subjects per day, without a holiday for preparation. Even there are no preparation holidays for the semester exams. We must take those. There should be a minimum of 75% attendance at the time of semester exams, else we need to provide a medical certificate or pay the required amount to write the exam. For school of technology in CSE, we require a minimum of 12-15 lakhs for 4 years of study. Including bus transportation for 2-3 years. This is quite expensive as the class rooms are non AC. We get fee concession even on eamcet & jee mains exam, they will provide the rank range to apply for the scholarship. If you are in that range, then you will get the scholarship, this scholarship is only for the first year. For the next year's you need to maintain a minimum CGPA of 8-8.5. With this you may get the scholarship or fee concession. There is a maximum of 12 lakhs package for the School of technology students. This may vary, depending upon the company

This college is best suited for cultural & other activities. There are many teams and other sponsors for conducting any event on the college or university premises. This would be like a battle to get an opportunity to be a member of the team. This is interesting. There are also sports and other curricular activities like NCC & NSS for the students. There are 2-3 auditoriums in the college with a capacity of 600-700 members each. There are separate Instagram pages and what's app groups for the students who want to do the audition and get into the teams. There are 4 basketball courts, 1 football field, 2 volley ball courts and a throw ball court in the college. There is also a cricket net practice in it. We can also play any game in the free area of the ground
