Remarks

I heard about GLA University from my friends and peers. There were two methods to take admission online and offline. Due to covid, I chose online. I gave a monitored entrance exam on GLA's official website which had moderate difficulty.

Course Curriculum Overview

They Were timely as per Semester. In one semester there were two exams Mid sem and End Sem. Both are of moderate difficulties. In end sem there are lab exams also in which we have to perform Lab experiments and have to give viva-voce.

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 196000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Various internships are offered to the students here to have hands-on experience in the field and for the upcoming job roles. Companies like Shriram Generally Insurance and Net cap and many more offer Various internships with handsome stipend.

Placement Experience

Here Placements start from the 6th Semester. Various Tech giants come here for Placement drives and make big numerous offers to the students. The number reaches up to 2000+ in offers here at GLA. The highest package is 44 LPA and the Average Package is 6.2 LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fees Structure Is Well built up and every type of fee charged is described in detail. There are several scholarships GLA offers like based on the PCM percentage, Government Scholarships, The Hike is 10% every year

Campus Life

There are several fests on campus namely Brij Literature Festival which is a cultural fest and E-conclave which is a tech fest. In both fests, celebrities in different fields come here at GLA to share their life experiences to motivate students.

Hostel Facilities

The Hostel Facility is Moderate. They are well secured. The attendance is done through biometrics and it is mandatory to give attendance daily. The hostel is well equipped with wifi facilities. The room includes a bed, table, one chair, One cupboard

Life of college of DELHI NCR

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B.Tech CSE course as I am interested in Computer and Coding. Don't go behind the trend. Choose the course according to your interest. Every course and specialization is difficult in its own. Personally I suggest if you took addmission and you are in 1st semester, please focus on your studies. Don't kept roaming and bunking classes as 75% attendance is also necessary.

Strict and sober college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is Totally academic level which is easy to moderate There are only one or two coding subjects which is done in form of workshops The overall syllabus is good but old and is related to aktu syllabus which needs a change and won't help in technical field a lot Curriculum is still moderate and easy to clear but still some students are back and detained due to less attendance Which is the biggest issue in this college that is 85% u can only take 6-7 holidays in a semester which is so less and two three holiday will let u detained in sessionals which will overall decrease the internal marks in your overall cgpa of college

My personal college experience

Course Curriculum Overview:

The subjects like ITC, COI influenced me as why they are in the curriculum they don't provide any skills for the engineering students. Students also studies these subjects in one day and give exam and they forget these subjects add no importance in the curriculum. There are subjects like acquiring buisness communication which helps us to improve our conversation skills confidence that is helpful in the future while interviews. The improvement in the subjects which is not useful for engineering and to increase more things which helps us in coding make us skill good. The frequency and timings of exams are quite tough there are consecutive classes along sessional exams student always stressed and the attendance is also higher so the student can't also take leave for his own mentality stability and to relax . The difficulty is quite high .

Our curriculum gets better from this year as so many changes occur due to college become autonomous Like a better coding platform bought by college for student i.e. CODETANTRA and some subjects of 2nd year introduced in the 1st year like COLD and DSTL , Promoting students to participate in Hackathon by mailing to the students about each and every big or small hackathon . Giving them free attendance for that thing . The frequency of exams are about 20 days .
