The eligibility criteria for BCA student in this college is to score atleast 75 with math in 12 class. You can find the application form in dhe website which conduct the pg and ug college admission criteria. There is some mark relaxation for sc and st student

I have chose BCA to become a software developer . In BCA ,we learn c,c++language and Java which helps us alot Also there is some IT subject as well which is best thing as it helps us in getting job in IT industry as well Also the facilities members present in our college is very supportive and have great knowledge of the subject

Internships Opportunities

No college don't provide you with the internship. But in your last year of graduation company come for recruitment. And if you have minimum 60% marks in your graduation and fine technical skills and good communication skills you will easily get the job.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of the college it Little bit high according to the facilities they provide. The one thing I don't like is that some of our lab computer operating system is old so we can't have to have latest os in it There is no such scholorship present in our college

There is lot of events are occurred in our college according to courses wise Such that in BCA , so many Events occurs according to the IT department Such as web development, coder decoder , ppt presentation etc Sports and extra curricular activities are also present in our college In sports their is badminton , cricket , basketball, football, tennis and many other game are present Also in our there is a drama club also

Placement Experience:

1. After 6 semesters the students become eligible for there college placements 2.The companies that visited my college are google microsoft and various other large tech companies and the largest offer made to our students were 1 crore ctc 3. The highest package was 1 crore ctc in our college and average package is that of 15 lpa in our college 4.There are 50-60% of students that get placements from our college 5.My plans after getting the degree is to get a good placement offer if not then getting into an multinational firm

Students can attend placement seminars in their last year of graduation. There are mostly placement offers for the role of sales and marketing or chat-call executives. IT companies do visit also but very rarely and they only hire only 5 to 10 candidates. There are sometimes unpaid internship opportunities available too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

BCA in itself is not a very good course that will gurantee your placement in a good company with high package, Its relevance is high only beacuse its easy to complete and get the degree. For good packages you have to do MCA or work harder on your skill to get a good job. BCA helps in building base of your coding career, it offers a good grasp of C/CPP, Java and DataStructure.

Sggs is alright, if you dont expect much

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because i was interested in computers and didn't wanted to do arts, and i was underqualified for other streams. Every class has about 45 students, the number vary but not much. The faculty and teachers are helpful. There maybe some slacking by both sides here and there but its alright. The teaching mathod varies. If you know what youre doing the exams are not that hard to pass.

Placement Experience:

In 4th or 5th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Many companies visited like, amazon, paytm, flipkart, skrill, justdial, swiggy, zomato and many more. 90% students got placed. The minimum average package companies offered to students is around 1.5 lakhs and maximum 2.5 lakhs.

Excellent collage in chandigarh

Every year number of companies visit college to give student jobs. Well known companies visit in college like Google Amazon Tata Nike etc. In the last semester we are eligible for campus placement. The highest package was given by Amazon to one of the student of our college Was 2 crore per annum. The average package of our college was 20 lakh per annum. THE LIFE AT DAV COLLEGE

As DAV is ranked one of the best instituions in north region for Bcom degree.
