Remarks

The admission process is through the Calicut university single window allotment. There is no entrance examination or personal interview for admission. There is a table of index marks for each subject. Those who meet these index marks will be selected. There is a special reservation for orphans.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because it was my dream course and a course with a great career opportunity. There are well knowledge and developed faculties. All the faculties are helping-minded and student-friendly. All the faculties have Ph.D. The exams will be conducted on time by the college.

Class Size: 200Course Fees: INR 2045 per year

Internships Opportunities

Internships with leading mental hospitals in Kerala such as Kuthiravattam Mental hospital and leading Rehabilitation centers like Vettom Rehab center. Projects with FIFA World Cup 2022 and its friendly matches were remarkable.

Fees and Financial Aid

There's a yearly course and tuition fees of? 2045. There's a grant scholarship for students who are admitted by merit. There are many government scholarship schemes such as Post matric Scholarship, Hindi scholarship, and Golden Jubilee scholarship.

Campus Life

Life at the campus is very nice and lovely. We can enjoy the golden days of our lives on campus. Amalit international Conference is an international educational fest conducted by our college. There is a vast collection of books and journals in different languages mainly English Hindi and Malayalam. Social clubs such as NSS and Accosa are ready for extra curriculum activities.

A Decent College for BSc chemistry students

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choosed this degree for me to pursue higher studies in uk or foreign country to study cosmetics related field. So for that bsc chemistry degree must have But this curriculum doesn't teach something base to that I think so.. For further studies the teachers need improvement to teach certain topics some teachers didn't even prepare to study students and lab safety is not in the lab.Because of the teaching the portions are done in last minutes and often exams are difficult in major subjects so they need to improve their study methods and often approach students nicely..

Why you should/shouldn't join LISSAH

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum is almost best. Curriculum doesn't influenced me in deciding this course. Curriculum should add internships. Currently there is no mandatory internship, if students are interested they can do internship during vacations. As we are learning psychology which need to be practiced in real world settings, curriculum must include real world training to help students understand things more effectively. Currently intervel between exams are non existent. Internal exams, then semester exams, you blink once, next internal exams, followed by semester exams. Syllabus is understandable, can learn if you try. Exams are also manageable. Real world examples and stories can be included in teaching methods, as psychology is related to humans and human interaction, to get better grasp of concepts. Rather than focusing on passing exam, should focus on the concepts and understand them in-depth. There are a lot of theories to study by heart. And there are many repetitive topics that overlap, but in different semesters.

Placement Experience:

From semester 5 the opportunity to get a job is out there. Many companies comes to interview and they swlect the apt ones. Sun, Mahendra etc are some of the companies i remember. The highesr package for freshers is like 15000 a month. There is a high percentage of students getting placements its 80-85%.My plan is to study masters.

I chose Bsc electronics, it has an attractive curriculum and some of them are influenced me in some way. The facilities are well-known about the curriculum preparing and all. The current curriculum is good but it needs some changes. Include more practicals is one of my suggestion. Teaching methods are good it doesn't need any change. Exams are conducted by Kerala University, so the college can't do anything in main exams but the college will complete all the portions before the exam date it is sure.
