Remarks

Took admission through the UPTU entrance exam which depends on the cut-off for the college that varies every year. As it was through the online UPTU website, got the information from the reception area. No, the reservation was availed. More and more trainings should be given to the students.

Course Curriculum Overview

Took this course as was having more interest in the technical field. Approx 50 members of faculty whereas 1000-1500 students were there. faculty were post greased and some HODs were Ph.D. Every month used to be the seessionals and were not difficult to pass.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Placement Experience

There use to be college placements but there are no more placements for the students of EC. They only provide placement for an average of 3-4l. The students who were placed were approx 10 percent.

Fees and Financial Aid

Approx there were 100000 to 120000 fees and the fees were fixed for all the 4 years. No scholarship was provided by the campus as it was only for the students who joined through the fee waiver scheme through the UPTU entrance exam.

Campus Life

The annual fest was conducted in the month of March or April named UTKARSH. There were so many books and different technologies available in the library approx 40k to 50k. In the college, there used to be so many tech fests and also fests where we use to go to other institutes to participate. There were so many college groups according to the interest of the students.

My Opinion about GL BAJAJ INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT

Placement Experience:

The student are available for placement from the starting of the 4th year of 7th semester. There's are lot of decent companies that come to our college like TCS, INFOSYS, MICROSOFT, CAPGEMINI etc The highest placement of my college is about 58 lpa and the average placement of my college is about 7.5lpa The 90 percentage of the students who participated in the placement are being placed rest are gone for their higher studies. My planned after getting my degree is to grab a decent package from the college and started my career.

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible for placements from the 6th semester. Recently Infosys visited our college, however the average and highest package was not yet declared but we have heard rumours that the highest package is somewhat around 30 LPA. The percentage of students getting placement is around 65%. My plans after getting this degree is applying for external placements as well.

Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.

The rate of my branch was quite high because I am in CSE AIML and future is totally depends on it that's why i select this branch.
