Remarks

The admission process is merit-based, which is prepared by combining 12th board PCM scores and any entrance score like JEE main or Gujcet. Initially, Candidates are supposed to fill out the application form available on gujacpc.nic.in. After which merit is released and candidates are asked to select colleges as per their preference like the type of course, college distance, college ranking etc. further the list of final admissions is released in 3 stages, where candidates are supposed to freeze their seat and the count of empty seats are released in next stage. Here, the course eligibility is 45% overall, after which the higher the overall marks, high is the probability to get into the chosen college.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I choose ECE as I was very much fond of electronics and electronic gadgets. I think I made the right choice by choosing this college to pursue my course. All the faculties are well graduate from renowned universities, their teaching methods and the course curriculum are sufficient as per market requirements. They make sure to inculcate all the qualities that are required to make the students stand out from the crowd. Examinations were on a half-yearly basis, which was set to test the overall knowledge of a student. I studied in the right way, it was like a cakewalk to crack the exams.

Placement Experience

3

Companies like einfochip and reliance used to visit colleges for on-campus recruitment. Students in their 7th semester are eligible to sit for the placement. Though the lesser number of companies used to visit due to locality, the pre-placement sessions provided by the college were sufficient to make the student ready for off-campus recruitments.

Fees and Financial Aid

Being a government college, fees are minimal in fact close to nothing. There are various merit-based scholarships for students with less than 10lakhs annual income. Various companies like einfochip, reliance etc. used to visit for on-campus job opportunities.

Campus Life

5

Apart from course learning, there are immense opportunities for co-curricular learning. Annual youthfest and college technical fest are some of the fests that give a platform to all to show cast their talent. There are various clubs run by students and cultural teams to make sure, every talent gets motivated and upheld.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

There is no hostel facility inside the college campus. One can opt for hostels located in the city, at a distance of approx 9kms. We were accommodated in a 1 hall kitchen room, sufficient for 3 people. Rent was 1100 including stay, light, and water. There is no mess facility, but one can get good quality food at affordable rates in the hostel surroundings.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As we all know , college learning is not only about textbooks, and real world knowledge is equally important. in this area, the college supports student well by giving exposure to practical learning . the course includes industry related topics, and teachers also try to explain how concepts are used in real life. the curriculum is helpful, but adding more modern tools, software and hands on projects would make it even better. Overall, the syllabus prepares student for future jobs and higher studies, while still leaving some room for improvement.

studemts become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. The placement acitivity keeps happening throghout the final year.companies like TCS,Tata LTIindtree, wipro and few local startup like tcs and ltimindtree and the avg pakage stays on the lower sidw compared to big private colleges,The opporrinties are there ,but not as many as we expect. the percnatage of stundents getting placed depends a lot on the batch ,but it's definitely not 100%. A good number of students get interships or jobs their own efforts also, beacuse some companies dont visit every year.if a student if genuinely working on skills and projects, they can manage to get something , but the college placements alone might not be enough for evryone. after completing my degree, l plan to work on my technical skills and try for better opportunities throgh of campus options as well.i don't want to depend only on the on capus placements.my goal is to build a good portfolio so i can apply to bigger companies later.
