Remarks

IIT Bhilai is one of India's top engineering institutes. It was my privilege to be part to accomplish my master's degree from such a prestigious college. A bachelor's degree in engineering or a bachelor's degree in technology with a minimum of 50% grades is required for the program. The online admission form, along with any required documentation, must be completed and submitted. GATE is used for admission. I passed GATE and applied for college through the college website, and after being accepted, I was called for PI.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

The college's curriculum is flexible and up to date; it is designed in such a way that if there is an industrial change, the curriculum is flexible. The curriculum teaches us all of the fundamentals of circuit design and electrical systems, among other things, in great detail and depth. The faculty is also extremely generous and knowledgeable in their respective fields. The college's faculty is not only PhD-level but also has extensive industrial experience. The faculty is easily approachable because the majority of them are young, so they properly understand our mindset and help us clear our doubts if we face any problems with any concepts.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

The internship is required as part of the curriculum, and we must finish at least 8 weeks of the program. After participating in the college internship program, we must register our information with the college placement committee.

Placement Experience

4.5

According to the new IIT, the college still offers a good selection for CSE. The university placement committee is extremely helpful and cooperative. The placement committee guides us but also assists us in selecting a good company for us and in each round of placement. Our batch's highest package was around 20 LPA, and the average package was around 9.50 LPA. During the internship program, some of my classmates received pre-placement offers. During the placement drive, companies such as Robert Bosch, CDAC, VMWare, GSoC, IITs, Carrier Midea, Think Future Technologies, Amazon, Commvault, Paytm, Air Asia, ABB, TCS Research Innovation, L&T, Reliance Jio, and others visited our campus.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college has very good scholarship schemes and provides very good opportunities for every section to gain a good education. College offer scholarships through Merit-cum-Means (MCM) Scholarship, SC/ST Scholarship, Free Studentship Scholarship, Fellowship to Postgraduate.

Campus Life

4.5

The college is outstanding. The college campus environment is welcoming. Around the college campus, there is a strict no-ragging policy. College classrooms are large and open. The college labs are modern and equipped with a wide range of research tools. The college library houses many international and national best-seller books, as well as many international journals that are very useful during class assignments.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel rooms are adequate and well-maintained. The hostel wardens and staff are courteous and professional. The rooms have LAN connectivity for internet access, and high-speed WiFi is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Every floor of the hostel has heavy-duty washing machines for us to use for laundry. The food at the hostel is delicious. The hostel provides us with a wide range of amenities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

In my curriculum Information Technology, we have to study Cloud computing, Advanced Machine Learning, Advanced Data Structure and Analysis, Distributed System, Blockchain Technology, Computer Networking, Data Science, Bioinformatics and many more subjects are taught. I choose this course as because it is aligned with my interest and matches my Bachelor of Technology field. By learning Cloud Computing, Advanced Data Structure Analysis, Advanced Machine Learning, Blockchain Technolgy; we get ready for industry job. In this course we learn how to solve real-world problems and solutions to them. For improvement in the curriculum, I would suggest not to involve more theory rather than go for more practical learning. The exams happens after every 3 months in a year. Generally the end-semester happens at December and May. The exam is moderate level.

This is my final degree as after post graduation I have no plans for PhD or anything and I will be trying my best to get placements. The college has a very good reputation when it comes to placements and therefore it is inevitable that if I do my best, I will get the best of campus placements.
