To pursue B.tech in this university one must Qualify JEE mains exam. If you want to opt for Computer Engineering, then your rank must be less then 35k in Jee mains(If you are of general category). We all know that in today's world the demand for data scientist is increasing, so it's wise to choose this course. Compared to the number of students the number of faculty is less. The ratio is around 1:80. Most of the faculty members has completed their PhD from different institutes while some are still pursuing. There are sessionals which are held twice, which are not much difficult , while end semester exams are somewhat difficult.

The internship are just fine of this university. The task and project varies from course to course. Recently Airtel was one of the company that came for internship. The task and the skill that company demands from Ce students are mostly development(android or web) along with DSA.

If we talk about the placement of Computer Engineering students then it's good. The average package is 6 lac. The students from 7th sem are eligible for placements. Some of the companies that visited are tcs , wipro , samsung and Amazon. The highest package for this year was around 35 lakhs. Almost all students gets placement from ce department. But I am planning to opt for higher studies.

Compared to the other colleges , this university is quite cheap as for all 4 years the overall fees is less tha 4 lac Rupees. While the quality of education and placement is quite good, it's not as decent as iits or nits ,but according to the fee you pay and the rank you got , it's one of the good College. Here the scholarship is provided by the college and the state government also , but you can apply for only one of them. University also provides loan to needy student at 0% interset rate.

The name of cultural fest of this university is Culmyca. But because of covid the fest has not been organised from last 2 years. As for this year it's still uncertain. The library of this university is small, there is not much variety among the books. There are different types of club for different activities like Eklavya for sports , vivekananda munch for socio cultural activities , manan for coding and many more.
