Remarks

The application form is available on the VIT website. The courses you will get depend on your JEE score, 12th board score, and VITEEE score. The cutoff for CSE is obviously higher than other branches. The admission process is smooth.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose Cyber Security because it is in huge demand. In one class there are around 60-70 students. All the faculties are Ph.D. Faculties are highly qualified. Teaching methodology varies from one faculty to another but overall you'll gain a lot of knowledge. Exams are a bit difficult here, you'll give 2 exams per semester.

Internship opportunities are provided by the college. Either you can get an internship through college or you can find an internship on your own but then you'll have to take permission from the college. College gives proper placement training.

Companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, and Flipkart, visit here for placement. The highest package was given by Amazon which was 46LPA and the average package is around 7-8LPA. More than 95% of students are placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are 7 categories in which your fees are decided. Category 1 will have fewer fees than category 7. The category is decided on the basis of your JEE, board, and VITEEE score. Fees are less here as compared to other private Colleges.

Campus Life

Fests usually take place in April month. In the library, you'll get most of the books that you need. Every classroom has a projector and the furniture is good and comfortable. Many sports and cultural events take place here.

Hostel Facilities

You get a study table, bed, and almirah in a room. AC and Non AC option is available. The meal is edible, not too bad, and not too good. The registration process of the hostel is done while the admission process. Renting a PG is not advised because the college is in a remote area so the nearest PG will be around 15-20 KM away.

After 6th semester you will Elligble for in campus placement and their are many internship and placement providing apps which are connected with our college like Internshala and our college also has own incubation center where students can brings their startup ideas and if they like your startup they will invest on it and student also got chance to get internship on that and got certificate and highest package is of 1.2 cr off campus and Average pacakge is of 5 to 6 lpa and their is basically 85 to 90% placement rate and my plan is to become ai ml engeener and grow in AI area

so in our college 1st year we have 2 semesters and n 2nd year we have 3 semesters and in 3rd year we have 3 semesters so 8 semesters already get completed and students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year . You can get internships in 3rd year as well if you have good grades and you are ready to grind . Talking about companies that visit for placements are Delloite , JP morgan Palo alto, De shaw and Co. My plan is to just have good gpa and get job asap

there are not much chances of placement as the student strength has increased drastically, students become eligible for placement from 3rd year, also as per the documentations there are more than 12z companies like hcltech, microsoft etc but not every documentation is correct so the chances of getting placed at campus is significantly low so i am planning to pursue higher studies and opting for gate

Placement Experience:

You become eligible to sit for placements in 7th semester , that is , in your 4th year. There are companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Axxela, American Express, BNY Melon, Adobe , Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Optum, Oracle, etc. But in other IITs which are also 2nd generation, more companies (around 50) comes for on campus placements . The highest pay is mostly for Software development and Quant roles. Last year it was around 1 Cr per annum of a Computer Science student which is really great. And the average package was around 25-26 Lakhs per annum. Last year , around 88% of all students including B.tech and M.tech got placed with decent salary.

Life at MITS , Gwalior

Placement Experience:

The Placament in MITS are decent, especially for the computer science and IT branches , with companies like TCS, wipro, infosys visiting regularly. Average packages range from ?3.5 to ? 6 lpa , and some students get higher offer from off campus drives. Overall, the T&P cell of Mits gives every details for the companies coming.

other college i applied were vssut , jaypee noida , cutr, silicon but i choose vit bhopal because i wanted to study outside my state and bhopal was closer . So admission process is you have to give an exam called vitee and to get in to vit bhopal in category you gotta have rank under 45K to study in cse core branch and for AIML branch you need rank under 55K and for studying in Cyber security and cloud computing it should be under 70K . if you get anything above 70k its hard to land in a good cse branch under category 1 fees....Read More
