Remarks
My mother and father are both assistant professors at APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University. After I completed, my graduation, it was implied that I will do my master's from AKTU. I took a gap of one year and prepared for the CMAT. After the results, I took admission to an MBA course in the field of marketing. The application fee is Rs.1300 for the general category and Rs. 650 for SC/ST/female students.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure of the MBA is ok. New concepts and topics were added to the syllabus after a lot of time. The updation was not very much frequent. However, seminars were organized very frequently. They helped me learn a lot related to professionalism. The level of difficulty of the exams was also nominal. They tested our practical knowledge gained from the projects and assignments.
Placement Experience
Students are eligible to sit in the placements during their last semester of the course. In my batch, around 80% of the students got placed and they were all happy. Preliminary tests and interviews were the two stages that needed to be cleared by the students. Companies that visited the campus are ITC, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Hexaware Technologies, Honeywell, Amazon, and many more.
Fees and Financial Aid
This year, many students applied for scholarships and got selected. Rs. 1.55 lakhs is the entire fee cost for the MBA course. The most common is the MCM scholarship followed by the scholarships provided by the central and state government for the needy students. Separate form filling is required if you are also willing to apply for the scholarship. Some necessary documents like an income certificate are also required.
Campus Life
Campus life was quite happening and a social one. Events and fests were loved by each student in the university. We used to start preparing for them quite a few months back. The campus of the university is also very huge and has scenic beauty. In our free lectures, we use to play sports and hang out on the back lawns of the university. The library has a huge collection of books suitable for every need.
