Experience at NIT Patna

For getting admission in MTech course I cleared GATE exam and appeared for CCMT counselling. On the basis of this I was shortlisted for NIT Patna. NIT Patna college placement record is very good and is ranked 72 based on NIRF Ranking for its performance in Engineering colleges. I was required to fill the online application form of the college which costs me around . Apart from this students must secured a score of 65% in graduation.

The course is of 2 years and divided in 4 semester. The curriculum is updated regularly to keep us with the growing demands and the changing trends of the software industry and research laboratories. The department provides wide range of course includes Data structures, design and analysis algorithms, system programming, data mining, Computer networks, real time systems, artificial intelligence etc. The faculty are highly qualified and helpful. They always teach us through projectors. The teaching methods are good and they clear all concepts.

My college has 100% placement records. There is a very good placement cell which helps students. The top companies that visit for placements are ABB, Accenture, Aditya Birla Group, AFCONS Infrastructure, AMW automobiles, GODREJ, HCL , PayTM etc. The average salary is around 4LPA. the highest salary is around 6LPA .

The annual fee of my course is 75000. There are various scholarship options for the students which are based on merit cum means. The details of scholarship can be obtained from the institute office . My college offer 100% waiver on the tuition fee for SC/ST students as per MHRD guidelines issued by GOI.

NIT Patna college campus has oldest infrastructure but it is nice and beautiful. The campus is situated at bank of river Ganga which enhances the beauty of college. The campus is well equipped with facilities like sports complex with Badminton court, Basketball court, Cricket Ground, Football ground, tennis court, volleyball court and table tennis court, well equipped labs with modern equipments, cafeteria, auditorium, gym, Wi-Fi facility 24X7, medical facilities and the central library which has vast stock of books related to engineering . Our college has three boy's hostel and two girls hostel. For security private guards is also provided in the campus. Every year there is lot of technical and cultural events.
