Average college

Eligibility for applying - students should pass their 10+2 with a minimum of 45% of marks. The application form is available offline. College doesn't provides an online form filling function to date. You have to go to the college and in office, you can collect the form which cost around 150 rs. Then you can fill out that form and submit it to the same office with all the required documents. Yes, absolutely like every other college in Ranchi university this college also has some reserved seats for the students belonging to st/sc/obc. Improvement- I think college should start taking forms in online mode so more students can apply with ease.

As I belong to the science stream but due to my keen interest in finance and accounting I choose the commerce field the graduation which opens up many scopes in my career as I wanted to do financial accounting services. The students to the teacher ratio are quite good. There are almost 4 teachers in the commerce department who are highly qualified. Faculty - they are very well qualified and experienced but they don't take regular classes which is the negative part of this college also. Semester exams are held after every 6 months of duration. The semester exam is not that though but you have to study each and every portion of the syllabus as questions is set by the faculties outside of college.

The fee structure is good. They didn't charge a high fee. You have to pay a yearly fee which is around 1100 rs and other than that you have to pay an examination fee every semester which is around 570rs. Yes, the college provides scholarships like - e-Kalyan for the students belonging to st/sc/obc and now even for ews ( economically weaker section ).

Generally, the fest is not organised by the college but you can enjoy the fest organised by students of the class. Every section celebrates its fest festivals with its members of the class. Library - yes there is a library on the campus you can easily issue a book from their WiFi connection- there is a good internet connection on the campus you can use up to 50Mb per day from the college WiFi connection. Classrooms- they are average in size, having fans, bulbs, adequate number of benches and desks. Sports and activities - yes you can enjoy sports activities on the campus. The college organised sports events every year and you can take part in it
