Remarks

So, that I can further prepare for any other competitive exams because it college doesn't have the criteria of minimum attendance and it is also at a walkable distance from my home. One more reason is that I want to study physics but none of the college provides this course on that time.

Course Curriculum Overview

In my college, there are only few courses Which they provides but Faculties are having good experience in there respective subjects. I got my syllabus through whatsapp and a teacher explained me thoroughly about the chapters and suggest me the books apart from main course book. And for rest of the things, I'm also waiting for the opening of the college.

Class Size: 8Course Fees: INR 80000 per year

There is no campus selection in my college. So, one has to search it through itself and find a better job.

College Events

College campus is quite big but lack of proper infrastructure and care-taking of the campus one cannot find a proper place apart from the class to study. I have visited the college twice because right now classes are going through digital channels.

I will rate the course curriculum decent because it cover the basic engineering concepts that made me choose this course and it prepare us okay for real-world or higher study, but still more practical work and updated teaching method needed, and exams come mostly every semester with some internals which are moderate tough but manageable with regular study. There are some teachers who teach very well and have good teaching methods.

A Real Student Experience at DEC

Course Curriculum Overview:

I feel the course curriculum is okay and the basics are covered well, which is one reason I choose this branch, but some subjects feel outdated and not fully connected to real industry work. It prepare us for further studies more than practical jobs. Exams come every semester with internals in between, difficulty is moderate but few papers become tricky. I think more practical topics, updated labs and better teaching methods will make the curriculum more useful...

Placement Experience:

In my college the placement system is not very strong because no big companies actually visit our campus. Students become eligible from 5th semester but still there is no regular campus drive. Sometimes small local garages or workshops come but they dont offer proper package, mostly they give training type work with very low salary. So there is nothing like highest or average package in my college, and only around 5–10% students manage to get some kind of job through their own contacts or relatives. Most of the students prefer to go for B.Tech or prepare for govt exams after diploma because campus placement is almost not there. My plan after completing the course is also to study further and look for better opportunities outside, since my college does not provide strong placement support. Overall placement in my college is weak and needs lot good improvement but the vishal sir is very good to get job for for others

Eligibility for applying - students should pass their 10+2 with a minimum of 45% of marks. The application form is available offline. College doesn't provides an online form filling function to date. You have to go to the college and in office, you can collect the form which cost around 150 rs. Then you can fill out that form and submit it to the same office with all the required documents. Yes, absolutely like every other college in Ranchi university this college also has some reserved seats for the students belonging to st/sc/obc.
