Remarks

There was an entrance exam on the basis of which we are provided vit colleges like the top students can go to Vellore but as I wanted to stay in Bhopal I stayed in vit Bhopal I didn't get any reservation

Course Curriculum Overview

As I want to pursue MTech in future I choose this course all the faculty are doctorates there is a semester system followed in our college it was easy to pass as it was online, the quality of teaching is also very good.

Internships Opportunities

I have still not got an internship it will be provided next year and there are no projects now But in the second year, the students get provided with the internship by companies like Amazon Flipkart etc

Students are eligible for internships from the second semester and placements are done in the third semester 80 percent of our students get placements in big companies like Amazon. My plan after getting degree is to pursue MTech

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees are 600000 and with both hostel fees and tuition fees, it is like 800000. The cost of the study is high but the college is worth it. The college has also a good reputation and scholarships are also provided

Campus Life

There are many extra curriculum activities and sports played in our college on daily basis, the football team is also nice and the seniors are also not discriminant in any of the sports the teachers also are available for sports.

Interview Experience

After I cleared their entrance exam there was a personal inter with one of my parent guardian the criteria I prepared by studying class 12th course and it was not very difficult the interview was also nice

After 6th semester you will Elligble for in campus placement and their are many internship and placement providing apps which are connected with our college like Internshala and our college also has own incubation center where students can brings their startup ideas and if they like your startup they will invest on it and student also got chance to get internship on that and got certificate and highest package is of 1.2 cr off campus and Average pacakge is of 5 to 6 lpa and their is basically 85 to 90% placement rate and my plan is to become ai ml engeener and grow in AI area

so in our college 1st year we have 2 semesters and n 2nd year we have 3 semesters and in 3rd year we have 3 semesters so 8 semesters already get completed and students are eligible to sit in placement from 3rd year . You can get internships in 3rd year as well if you have good grades and you are ready to grind . Talking about companies that visit for placements are Delloite , JP morgan Palo alto, De shaw and Co. My plan is to just have good gpa and get job asap

there are not much chances of placement as the student strength has increased drastically, students become eligible for placement from 3rd year, also as per the documentations there are more than 12z companies like hcltech, microsoft etc but not every documentation is correct so the chances of getting placed at campus is significantly low so i am planning to pursue higher studies and opting for gate

Placement Experience:

You become eligible to sit for placements in 7th semester , that is , in your 4th year. There are companies like Google, Amazon, Deloitte, Accenture, Axxela, American Express, BNY Melon, Adobe , Goldman Sachs, Samsung, Optum, Oracle, etc. But in other IITs which are also 2nd generation, more companies (around 50) comes for on campus placements . The highest pay is mostly for Software development and Quant roles. Last year it was around 1 Cr per annum of a Computer Science student which is really great. And the average package was around 25-26 Lakhs per annum. Last year , around 88% of all students including B.tech and M.tech got placed with decent salary.

Life at MITS , Gwalior

Placement Experience:

The Placament in MITS are decent, especially for the computer science and IT branches , with companies like TCS, wipro, infosys visiting regularly. other college i applied were vssut , jaypee noida , cutr, silicon but i choose vit bhopal because i wanted to study outside my state and bhopal was closer . So admission process is you have to give an exam called vitee and to get in to vit bhopal in category you gotta have rank under 45K to study in cse core branch and for AIML branch you need rank under 55K and for studying in Cyber security and cloud computing it should be under 70K . if you get anything above 70k its hard to land in a good cse branch under category 1 fees....Read More
