Remarks

Eligibility of the course is 75% in 10 and 12 exams. You can find the application form on the official site of GLA University. Yes, there are benefits for reservations, they give scholarships. If you are a girl, book your hostel as soon as possible, there is a lack of hostels for girls.

Course Curriculum Overview

Because I want to be a computer science engineer. The ratio of student to faculty is 1:70. All teachers are well qualified and have a good understanding of students. There is one midterm and one end term and are pf medium level

Fees and Financial Aid

Every year there is a hike of almost 2000 rupees in academic fees and a 2000 rupees hike in hostel fees. They give scholarships according to your 12 percent or jee mains percentile. 12 percentage- if 95% above -65000 less, if 90% above -33000 less, if 80%above -15000 less

There is no annual function, tech fest happens monthly by some technical clubs. there is almost every type of book available in the library. Furniture is very bad in the university but has a projector in each class. Good sports and extra curriculum activities are there, we have every sport on our campus and a monthly tournament. NCC and NSS.

Hostel Facilities

In rooms, they will provide you with a bed, a table, and a chair. The meal quality is good enough compared to other colleges, there is nonveg allowed in the hostel. you can book online or register through the portal.

The course curriculum is well structured and keep up with the evolving trends of industry. It balance Theoretical and knowledge and practical application, helping students build a strong foundation in core subjects like programming mathematics and engineering fundamentals. The curriculum Includ Laboratory session Projects and tutorials that enhance understanding beyond the textbooks It also allows students to choose elective in later semester which adds flexibility and depth to learn. In terms of revevance, most subjects are designed to align with current industry requirements especially in field like computer science and electronics the inclusion of emerging technologies such as ai data science and web development makes it quite comprehensive. However a few areas could be improved such as integrating more industry based project and updating some older Syllabus to match modern tools and frameworks. Overall the curriculum is relevant ,comprehensive and career-oriented providing a solid base for both higher studies and professional development.

Unfiltered review and reality of My College

Course Curriculum Overview:

This criteria for choosing the college was because of placements. The curriculum Is outdated and not as per the industry requirements. In 1st year we are taught only one language and which is of no use.... That is C. But in other universities, students are taught languages like java, C++, python in their 1st year. Teachers are good. I have no issues with them but I have issues with its curriculum. Exam are taken so much which are according to me good as they prepare as for university exams but as I consider placement point of view so students do not have enough time to prepare for their placements, learning new skills as we are supposed to study for exams otherwise we will have to attend extra exams and classes and will lose internal marks. So having many exams have both benefits and drawbacks.

First you have to give an entrance test conducted by the college (test not required if you have clear the jee mains but not eligible for any nit) if you pass the test for the stream you choose than you will be eligible for admission and just have to pay some amount to reserve your seat.
