Well to get admission to NIT Allahabad, josaa is one of the ways and it went pretty smooth as it was completely online and as a candidate, I can make my own list of preferred colleges and branches available through josaa 2020.
Course Curriculum Overview
If you are one of those students who can study can for a few days continuously then no need to worry if you haven't studied the whole semester, you complete the syllabus in 2 to 3 weeks before end sems and as of my experience, I have completed a subject in one and a half-day before the semester.
Internships Opportunities
We do get a lot of companies and we get offers from the 3rd year onwards and we get big tech companies in for hiring interns which also offer big packages in PPO if they offer so. And for women, there are so many opportunities available here.
Placement Experience
The placements of our college are the most prominent reason to be here, especially in the computer science department. Even the students of other departments also get really good packages. We here have an average package given in CSE/IT is above 19lpa/17lpa and that too in a pandemic. And it is believed to increase in coming years.
Fees and Financial Aid
This is one of the most appreciable things of our institute as students with financial constraints are given fee relaxation over tuition fees. And as far as I remember home state scholarships are also provided in up.
Campus Life
We have Culrav as a cultural fest and Avishkar as a tech fest. We also have Renaissance, hack36 also fests. We get to choose more than one committee for cultural fests. Our committees have performed exceptionally well in IITs when it comes to competing outside colleges whether it's cultural or sports competition.
Hostel Facilities
As a man, I can tell you only about boys' hostel, to be honest, the hostel provided to freshmen are pretty good and spacious with proper flooring and furniture, the things which I have encountered as annoying are water purifiers and flushes. And the hostels given to seniors are the rooms which are not that spacious and the rest of the conditions are the same.
