Remarks

They directly gave us admission on the basis of the percentage of class 12th. They should've taken an entrance exam or an interview to grant us admission. The admission is given if you have satisfactory marks i.e 75%. Application for admission is available on the amity website

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because the law is my passion .faculty is good (above average) but you have to depend on self-study to score good marks. Exams were according to the calendar. Our batch had started late because of covid our exams were delayed.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 180000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The campus provides internships to law Students from the 2nd year, they also provide us with summer internship offers where they invite various organisations from outside to the campus like Himalaya, Accenture.

Placement Experience

Campus placement starts from the 7th semester. In the law field, very few companies arrive to take students from the Law field. I am planning for litigation under the guidance of a respected High Court Lawyer. Pretty less offers are made for Law Students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

Fees are too much compared to the services provided by the college. The fee hike is only because of the brand name of amity university. The scholarship is provided only in 1st year on the basis of percentage in class 12th.

Campus Life

Amphora is the annual event conducted by Amity University for students of all courses. And Lex Carnival is the national event that was conducted for Law Students of Amity University. There aren't any in the university.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel is pretty bad. Hostel fees is pretty high compared to the facility it provides. No AC in the hostel. Even fans run slow . Some fans don't even work. Mess food is fine but there should have been some diversity in verity because they serve potatoes in almost every meal

There's no specific thing that influenced me to do this course or to join this university. I've livin' in Gorakhpur for past more than 10 yrs so it's like a home for me now.and ddu is really a well known University in Gorakhpur as well as across whole UP. Placement Experience:

Placements are offered by the college but in a limited way and only the top 10% students are allowed to sit in them because that's what the recruiter wants. The internship department of the college however provides vast variety of internships and hslps the students in getting them. The cell is responsible for the practical skill development of the students and the students find it helpful and the exposure of ofcourse allows them to create contacts and relationships with the companies and the chambers to further and also to secure a placement by showcasing their skillset

I don't know about this as of now as this is my very first semester here in college but listening to the seniors that placements are good here. If you maintain a good GPA and perform well in academics then you'll surely select for the campus placements. Some campus visiting companies are HCL, HP, AMBUJA, ADITYA BIRLA GROUP, WOW MOMO, and many more. The highest package was 1.6 crores.
